Much better than the photo used on the website. It had all the amenities. Decorated perfectly. We loved listening to the ocean from the upstairs from the comfortable bedroom at night. The beautiful walk to the beach was only two minutes, and what a great beach Twins Rocks has. Close enough to Garibaldi for fresh fish and Rockaway. We truly can't wait to come back this Fall, and many more times in the future. THANK YOU for sharing you wonderful beach house. |

Wonderful Beach Cabin A guest from Sammamish, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 We had a fantastic stay at this adorable beach cabin. Our family of 5 stayed there and found we had everything we needed! It was a short little walk to the beach (look for the "beach" sign in the backyard shown in the website photo). The hot water heater was great, unlike what some older reviews said, and we always had plenty of hot water even with 5 of us taking showers. The cabin has an on-demand water heater. We were delighted that they welcomed pets. In looking at the photos we thought it might be a little bit "dark/shaded" feeling, but it wasn't at all. I agree with what others said that the stairs leading up to the bedrooms could be steep for some people. It was not a problem at all for our family. It was a great value for the money. We loved it and highly recommend it! |

We felt that for what they were asking ($119/Night) was very high for what this place is. It is tightly squeezed between several homes the driveway gives this home any room at all. the last night we were here we went out to use the BBQ and there was no propane. We were a little frustrated as we had all of our food ready to go and, surprise! No propane. Hmmm didn't think I had to check it or needed to buy any based on the high price. You would also think there would be salt and pepper too, Nope! Be sure to bring your own. On the positive, the shower and endless water heater was AWESOME! Don't get me wrong, its a nice place but be sure you come in with lower expectations than we did.PS. If you have a hard time with stairs this is NOT the place for you.... Enjoyed the very pleasant walk through the woods to the beach. Did not like the $50 "damage waiver" fee that was never refunded. Staircase is a bit tricky so I don't suggest anyone that has trouble walking stay there. The second bedroom is more of a loft - no door. It was clean and the location is nice. I had called the management because the garbage was full when I arrived, I was told it would be picked up on Thursday but it wasn't. I didn't have room in the cans for my trash when I left. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2010 We had a FANTASTIC time down at the beach. We stayed for 3 nights. The house was nice. The path to the beach was clearly marked and a nice trail, also nice logs at the end of the trail to sit on and watch the sunset with a bottle of wine! We brought our 6 month old to the beach for our first vacation and we forgot her play n'pac to sleep in. But when we got to the house and I was trying to figure out how she was going to sleep, there in the corner was a play n'pac!! YEA!! She slept great at the house. My only complaint is that the bed was not comfortable at all. We slept in it one night and then decided to put the futon cushions on the floor and slept on that the next two nights. Overall the stay was cozy, the weather perfect, and the town was quite as always! |

Stayed for 2 days in August, 2009 The comments in the cabin details state "5 minute walk to the beach", but when trying to walk to the beach, there was no beach access. All walk able beach access was private property in all directions. The only way to access the beach is by driving .7 miles toward Rockaway to a road with beach access. When taking a shower the water never got above luke warm. The cabin itself was very cozy and in a nice area.
