Vacation Condo Rental Description:
This San Diego Vacation Rental is available year round.You can make an online reservation now or call us for assistance.This property is available year-round. We offer a 3 night minimum Sept to May. One week minimum for summer season Sat to Sat and also over the Holidays. - we do make some exceptions in Early June and late August. Holidays have one week minimum but at times we can work around this so please call! We do not accommodate arrivals on a holiday at this time. One of 3 rental units in this South Mission Beach building. This unit is located in the back of the building on the ground level. It offers a nice ocean view to the south and shares the common oceanfront patio with the two other units.
Cozy living area with an oceanview, Cable TV, DVD and a queen sofa sleeper. This unit is located in a great area of South Mission Beach and offers 2 car tandem parking for 2 small cars or one larger SUV.
Dining area just off of the kitchen that opens into the living area keeps is open and spacious! This unit can be rented with the front 2 bedroom 1 bath oceanfront and also our 5 bedroom 3 bathroom La Playa Grande upstairs. Perfect for family reunions or several families traveling together. Kitchen complete with coffee maker, dishware and flatware and dishwasher.
2 twin beds with a bathroom easily accessed by each bedroom or the living area. Second bedroom offers a queen bed.
Outside oceanfront deck offers a picnic table for each unit and a charcoal grill. Sand volleyball courts are right on the beach. All new furnishings and beds were installed May 2008 in this wonderful beach house.
During the off season we offer great rates on a monthly basis too- call for details!

The patio was just awesome and that is where we spent most of our time. Some much to do in the area, and the beach was well maintained. I never got in my car and drove anywhere. We rented bikes and road our bikes everyday for miles and miles. The few is breathless for the moment you open your eyes to the last view before bed. My only suggestion is that the unit needs more kitchen items for example pot holders, cookie sheets, cheese grater to start. If you have a large suv the parking is great. La Playita B A guest from El Cajon, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 The location was perfect but the amenities were poor. There were not enough kitchen tools for basic cooking and grilling and the lack of supplies made going to a store very early on in the stay essential to purchase dish soap and paper goods. 2 rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels are not enough for 6 people for one week. This property seemed neglected and as if the owner had given up on it. Renteres in the other units were extremely dissatisfied with the lack of supplies for cooking and grilling and since they had come from out of state, they resorted to eating out for the entire week. We have rented before and the amenties were much better than this one. The location is perfect which made up for the lack of creature comforts in the unit. |

We honestly believe that the rent should be less for faithful customers giavne the economic times. We shouldn't have to ask for a break the Owner's would be wise to offer pricing breaks to the loyal 20 year plus customers. thank you! |

Enjoyed watching Volleyball players each morning shawn s. from AZ, 85224 recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2009 The refrigerator kept our food cold and we had lots of hot water. The patio is wonderful, but could use some new chairs. Our biggest problem was the lamps. On several the switches didn't work--just went round and round. These were the ONLY lights in the bedrooms, which meant we needed to plug/unplug in the dark! Very difficult and I worried about us getting shocked--especially my kids. The smoke detector started beeping at midnight our last night and it took some time to get it down-thank goodness it was reachable by standing on the bed. Either it was broken or the battery was old. Please check these regularly. I suggest you add some pot holders and at least one pot with a lid or a colander to the kitchen. The master could use either new blinds or black out curtains. Those blinds could only go up and down and not adjust light. They did not keep out the light from the next door neighbors who left their outside light on continuouly and I'm not sure that people weren't getting to see me undress all week! The mgmt quickly responded to my request for a broom. It would be nice to have a vacuum that had a floor attachment and not just an upholstery one. It made me laugh that we had TWO ironing boards and irons. Who on earth irons on vacation--or at the beach for that matter :) We would consider this place again. |

Things that need to be fixed Carole S. from Tonopah, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2009 The property was not ready for guests. Even though I notified the property manager that I was cooking every meal, the stove did not light, the refrigerator door did not have a handle and had rust all over it, the largest pot was only a one quart size, there were no potholders, there were no plastic spoons to use for the Teflon pan so I had to use a spatula in order not to ruin the pan, there was a glass and spoon left in the dishwasher which the housekeeper washed when she came to unlock the pantry, and the housekeeper had to bring me one dish towel. The pantry was locked, but the housekeeper opened it and put the items in the bottom. George said he would have a technician come and fix the stove and refrigerator either Monday or Tuesday, but no one came and there was no follow-up. The bathroom door would no lock going in to the two bed bedroom. The TV was either receiving interference or the tubes were going out since it made buzzing noise during the shows where you could not hear the shows. The front door's latch also stuck to where you had to pull on the door before you could open it or the latch would stay in so that you had to jiggle the handle on the inside to make it catch. There were six fans stored in our apartment, four in the one bed bedroom and two in the bottom of the pantry. Both the green and white (in storage in the garage) outside plastic chairs were in terrible shape. Half of them were cracked making them unsafe to sit in. It would be a nice place to stay if items were replaced when no longer working properly. |
