Welcome home to Casa Colonial! This gorgeous oceanview vacation rental house, located in the exclusive beachfront gated community of Hermosa Palms, oversees the beautiful beach of Hermosa from only 50 meters away. Wake up in the morning to the sounds of the waves, inviting you to jump right in with your surfboard.
Enjoy its private lap pool and large terrace with seating, pool lounge chairs and full bathroom. The house is only steps to the beach and the club area with large community pool.
Casa Colonial vacation rental home is modern, with all amenities such as full A/C, wireless high speed internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The architectural style is modern with colonial touches such as wrought iron, styled lamps, Nicaraguan tiles and an adobe color stucco.
The first floor has a living area with a three-seat couch and a table for 6. A flat screen 26" TV can be swiveled to watch either from the sofa or the dining table. There are two large sliding glass doors that open up to the pool terrace.
All bedrooms are on the second floor. The Master bedroom has a King size bed, closet and ensuite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom (Queen bed) and third bedroom (2 Twins) both have their own closets and share a bathroom with shower. The 2nd floor is completed by a living area with a Full size sleeping sofa and a 50" plasma TV.
The beach club with oversized pool is only 50 yards away. Playa Hermosa is a beautiful, long stretch of unspoiled beach. The break is one of the most consistent in Central America, and well known among surfers. The best surfing breaks occur from May to November, time of our best prices too! If you don?t surf you will enjoy walking on it and swimming on low tide.
Hermosa Palms is a family friendly and exclusive community just 2 kilometers off the town of Hermosa, famous for surfing since it has held international competitions. In Hermosa, you will find restaurants and a basic grocery store. For more variety you can easily go to Jaco, just a 15 minute ride from the house.
Golf and sport fishing are 20 minutes away, at the Los Suenos Resort and Marina.
Down the road from Hermosa Palms you will find a biological reserve that protects the habitat of sea turtles that come to lay their eggs on the beach from July to September. The eggs then hatch and the small turtles return to the sea from December to February. This is a spectacle worth seeing once in a lifetime, specially for children.

Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 I think for the money we paid the house was in disrepair with several lights not working and rusted.The furniture and the lay out of the house were not exceptional.Probably would not rent this house again unless it was reasonably priced for the shabby condition. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2011 Property Manager Response: Response from BEACHHOME Costa Rica Vacation Rentals Original reservation was from Friday to Sunday. The client wanted, last minute, to change the reservation to stay less than our minimum 2 night stay, and pay only 1 night. She also wanted to arrive 7am on Saturday. We accommodated her early arrival wish and allowed her to stay through Monday morning to take advantage of the 2 nights. All she wanted is her money back, hence her low rating on our services. |
