TV did not work as we had to straighten the J pin connector. vacuum cleaner was inop. other than that the cabin was really well built and provided a 270 degree view. smoke alarm works quite well as we BBQ'd on the front porch and the smoke set it off. i would rent this cabin again. |

Stayed for 2 days in January, 2010 The cabin was cute and rustic. We loved the location. I was very dissappointed with the kitchen supplies. The cooking supplies were very old/disgusting. The one skillet in the kitched was impossible to cook a good meal in. the pan was very uneven and everything stuck to it. The owners need to update all the kitchen supplies... pots, pans, coffee pot, mugs.. we were forced to eat out the rest of our trip. It just took too much time to make anything and clean up. The stair case is another issue... very dangerous!! We have had the opportunity to stay at many rental cabins in the McCall area(in all price ranges) and this cabin was nothing like other places we have stayed at. The kitchen was terrible!! Sept. 5th - 7th at the Tortorica Cabin in McCall Jolene V. from Emmett, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2008 What a GREAT cabin (clean and well-arranged) and a WONDERFUL secluded location(we saw deer in the driveway)!! The Tortorica is a very nice cabin with an AWESOME view!! We'll book this cabin through Accomodation Services again, that's for sure!! (check the TV and VCR/DVD... they do NOT work together and the TV doesn't have a way to hook up a rented DVD player) |

Nice Place A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2008 We've stayed in this cabin before and they've done some work updating the furniture and carpet. Place looks nice, and has a little tv with a dvd and vcr in the living room. Has a great cabin feel. On the down side the stairs upstairs are steep and the water has a sulpher smell. But we've stayed here twice so it's not too bad for us. |

Stayed for 4 days in June, 2008 The only comment that I have is the fact that the second floor stairway is very steep, more like a ladder, and has the potential of causing someone to fall and receive a serious injury. The two hand rails have been attached with blocks that require you to take your hand of the rail while transitioning the very steep steps. Right at the bottom of the step is a door with a window that is the place that someone that is falling would likely place their hand, resulting in a very serious injury. The window should be removed from the door and the hand rail corrected. Good chance for a law suit because the stairs and hand rail are not to code. The reason that I bring this up is the fact that my daughter fell from the stairway and nearly went through the window. Other than that the cabin was great and we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks |

Totorica Cabin A guest from Nampa, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2007 Accomodations are adequate. Carpet was clean and new. The stairs to the second level are quite steep. Neighborhood dogs barked excessively. Remodel of bathroom was not well thoughtout with washing machines and positioning of the door. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the accomodations for a low to moderate priced choice. |
