Overall a good trip
John G. from Meridian, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2016 Our entire family went and we had a great time, eventhough the condo was a bit out dated and the layouthad some weirds twists...the location more than made up for it. We really enjoyed ourselves.Looking forward to the next trip!
Cute place on a budget, but a few tips before you book
A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2015 Cool 70's décor, lots of flat wood animals, some irritations. GREAT view of the river. Accomodation does a good job of check in/check out. Adequate parking close by. You can snowshoe right out the door along the river. Place was clean, except for the mold in the shower downstairs. If you are on a budget, this place will work great for you. The not so cool list: no Wifi! Bring your own kindling or axe, as they didn't provide either so fire place useless till I broke down and bought an axe I don't need. Accomodation was not helpful on this point, suggesting we buy pinecones? Unless you are the size of a smurf or small hobbit, bring your own towels. The downstairs bed is great if you like uber hard mattresses. Other wise, you'll be on the couch like us. The master toilet ran all night, with a tank refill that woke the upstairs every 90 minutes. We'd stay there again, but are smarter now on what we need to bring.
A guest from Marysville, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2015 my husband and I, along with our son and his wife rented a condo on the Payette River. It was so peaceful and suited our special needs. It is a beautiful condo with a special view. It could use a good cleaning, cobwebs in the windows and too much assorted kitchen items in drawers, makes everything look dirty. Some new towels, washcloths and blankets would feel like the linens were cleaner. Close to everything but feels like you're all alone. with improvement it could be just what you're looking for. We certainly would return, given an opportunity and will tell anyone considering private homea, you'll love this and it's location.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 Our group of six loved the views of the river from the picture windows in the living room. We saw ducks and deer trekking through the snow on the other side of the river. We enjoyed fires in the fireplace every evening. This condo is very close to town and Ponderosa State Park. We will definately stay there again!
A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 Enjoyed the condo size and location very much. It could use a good, deep, cleaning throughout, and a lot of TLC (light bulbs were out, paint is peeling, etc). It is currently for sale and we received a call from a realtor who wanted to show it during our stay. (she kindly refrained when she learned it was rented.) It suited our needs for the 2 days we were there, however, and we'd consider again in the future.
Joseph K. from El Cajon, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We love the river view, location, the upstairs screened porch and the well stocked kitchen utensils. Again, had a great stay!
A guest from eagle, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 Very quiet location, great river vista and sound--relaxing. Furniture and appliances very dated...towels clean, but dated. Could use some improvements at very little financial investment. Missed a barbeque, or if it was there did not see it. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Brian H. from Temecula, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 Generally, the condo was ok. These condos were built in the early 1980s and this unit has not been updated since that time, but it is not in bad shape. If you are expecting a modern condo, this is not the place for you. The owner has, what I would call "over decorated" to their personal taste with various crafts. The unit is very functional, but not a 5 star. It is very dusty and many spider webs need to be removed. I won't give this unit a strong recommendation - I have stayed at other condos in McCall that are much nicer and modern for the same price. If this is the only place left, then go for it and make the best of it. It has great potential, but it needs updating, a good cleaning and redecorated!!
