Good choice for a great reunion.m
A guest from Eugene, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 The lodge was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Our large family was spread out and occupied several cabins, but everyone said ours had the most scenic setting. The managers were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place. I was, however, offended by the owner's putting a combination lock on the front door annd requiring his paying customers to use the garage entrance. More than a little elitist, I think. Nobody's doing that here in Croatia, where I'm on holiday now.
Attractive place, with some shortfalls, and not quite as describe
Terrance K. from Boise, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2014 The amenities were very good, good furniture, beds, bathrooms etc all good. This unit has many positive features, but also has some serious shortfalls. Kitchen utensils and all pots and pans need replacement. Dishes, cups, dinnerware were great, but try and find a usable fry pan or a sharp unbroken knife.. The kitchen stove also not so very good.We have rented VRBOs many times over years, and all come with used books, some board games, cards, magazines etc so this time we did not bring our own. Big mistake because this place was sterile of those kinds of homey things. And SIX TVs is overkill. This unit is described as a 5 bedroom. It is really a 3 bedroom with 1 bunk room is a walk through storage room in the basement between the garages and a hidabed in another room in the basement called a media room, neither of which seemed to be able to be heated. These are not "bedrooms"Though this unit has "curb appeal" and a wonderful description, it ranks near the bottom of the 20 or so units we have rented in McCall over the years. It was also the most expensive, but that seems to be a "McCall thing".
Property Manager Response: Response from Accommodation Services, LLC Thanks for letting us know on the pots, pans & knives as we will get these replaced.
A guest from Bountiful, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Great house in great shape. The only thing that was less than perfect were the pots and pans for cooking, mostly old and scratched teflon. But the gas grill was great and the kitchen was well stocked with plates and mugs.
A guest from Fruitland, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 The property we stayed in was beautiful!! My family would definately stay there again. The house was very clean however I think someone overlooked cleaning the jets in both soaker tubs and the shower liner in the master bath needed to be replaced.Great house overall.
A guest from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 Would stay here again without hesitation. Generally well maintained and conveniently located in a neighborhood along a little used road. Minor annoyances included a blocked, bent rain gutter which constantly dripped water onto the driveway/walkway (it rained and snowed continually during our two-night stay) and one of two garage bays inaccessible by car due to a pile of snow in front of the garage door.
Jeff P. from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2010 We enjoyed our stay here very much. The cabin was very clean, and had lovley furnishings. many of the breakable items we had to put up because of our children staying with us. The key did not work in the front door. Several cabnets and covers were broken and need repair when we arrived. We loved the day light basement, and the room for children to play down there. The house is very nosiy but is large enough to accomidate a busy family well, just get the kids outside to play.
A guest from Nampa, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2009 Although the place was clean, there was a strong disgusting cat urine smell in the downstairs--so bad that the adults refused to go down there. The property also was represented as a 5 bedroom plus a theater room and there were only 4 bedrooms which made our stay cramped. The kitchen was very small and one of the cupboards was falling off, and a 500 pound block of ice fell off the roof and almost demolished our car. The driveway hadn't been plowed until the 2nd day of our stay, the steps to the door were not cleared, and we couldn't use the garage because of the 2 foot hump of ice directly infront of it. There was no icemelt to use. On a positive note, the beds and linens were very comfortable. I would not return to this property and I could not reccommend it due to the urine odor.
A guest from Meridian, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2008 The home was beautiful but the kitchen was a bit small and I was suprised that it didn't really have much of a deck, just enough room for a BBQ and 2 chairs. The pool and recreation facility was really nice and we enjoyed using the firepit to make smores one night. Overall, I would recommend renting this home.
A guest from Valencia, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2007 I thought the home we rented was beautiful. Everything was clean and in working order. Not having to worry about the home we rented allowed my family to enjoy our family reunion.
