One Bedroom Apartment on the Residencial Las Dunas Complex in Corralejo
This is a first floor apartment sleeping up to 4 guests with twin beds and a sofa opening out to a full sized double bed. Furnished to a high standard with everything you need to enjoy a self catering holiday, it is set in a quieter part of the complex only a few steps away from the pool.
Las Dunas is the perfect place for couples and small groups of friends.
Residencial Las Dunas was completely renovated during 2007/8 and the apartments are now under private ownership with a combination of residential and holiday homes.
The complex has a large freeform swimming pool with childrens section, sunbeds, tennis courts, an exercise room and well established gardens. It is a perfect place to relax and get away from it all but still have everything you need to enjoy your holiday within easy walking distance.
The complex is located within a few minutes walk of the El Campanario Shopping centre and the amazing Las Dunas national park with its miles of golden Saharan sand and blue seas. For the adventurous guest you will find plenty of watersports on offer in Corralejo from diving, windsurfing to kite surfing. There are schools along the coast so why not try something new during your holiday?
Corralejo is the largest resort on the island and is only a 30 minute drive from the airport. As well as beautiful beaches you can enjoy boat trips to nearby Los Lobos or Lanzarote, shopping in the El Campanario centre, visit the Baku complex and shop at the market, swim with a sealion, climb the climbing wall, play mini golf or enjoy the wide variety of bars and restaurants catering to all tastes including tapas, seafood, chinese, indian, Italian, steak or even fish and chips. Of an evening there are plenty of bars offering entertainment including live music, magicians, bird shows, quizzes and bingo or just relax with a drink and do some people watching around the harbour.
The Apartment
The apartment is furnished in a bright modern style with those extra touches you wouldn’t find in a tour operators property. It has a real home from home feel.
The bedroom has twin beds. There is room underneath the beds for your suitcases so you do not have to leave them in your way or have to lift them on to the top of the wardrobe. The wardrobe is large and has plenty of hanging and shelf space for all of your belongings. It has sliding doors one of which is a full length mirror. I have also included a hairdryer for you to use, saving space in your suitcase. There is a Digital Safe provided free of charge. There is also a multi plug and plug adaptors allowing you to charge your mobile phone, camera, MP3 player etc.
The bathroom is light and airy and has shower with glass screen, bidet, WC, sink and a large mirror. There is a power point for razors.
The kitchen has wooden units and is well equipped with fridge, combination microwave, electric 2 ring hob, toaster, kettle, coffee filter jug, sandwich toaster and plenty of crockery, pans and cooking equipment. I have even included plastic cups, plastic wine glasses and a cool bag for you to take down to the pool area if you wish. The breakfast bar and stools allow for indoor dining should you prefer.
There is even a washing machine and you will find a clothes airer and pegs outside in the covered area of the balcony. For larger loads there is a drying area within the complex.
The lounge area over looks the balcony and here you will find the large sofa which opens out to a full sized double bed, providing sleeping for a further 2 guests. The sideboard gives you with additional storage and in here you will find a selection of games suitable for all ages, a small selection of books. There is a flat screen television which shows Freeview Satellite channels and an Ipod dock with radio.
I have also included a comprehensive Information Folder which gives you further details of the resort, places to visit, a list of trips that can be booked, details of bars and restaurants and pages for you to leave your suggestions for future guests.
The balcony is large and overlooks the garden areas, the table and chairs with cushions make it a perfect spot to sit and relax with breakfast or a drink before venturing into town. It attracts sun depending on the season, however the entrance to the apartment is in full sun all day and is wide enough to take a chair out and sit on so why not enjoy the peace and quiet out here and top up your tan. There is a variety of birdlife in the complex and you should see the Collared Doves nesting in the tree nearby.
The apartment will be cleaned prior to your stay and weekly thereafter for stays of over one week. Bed linen, bath, hand and tea towels are included all you need to bring is your beach towel.
You will be greeted at the complex by my English representatives who will show you to the apartment and hand over the keys.
A non refundable £60 deposit along with a completed Booking Form is required to secure your booking. The balance plus a refundable £60 security deposit is due 6 weeks prior to your holiday. This is refunded within 2 weeks of your return following a satisfactory report.
The price is for the apartment per week not per person.
There are no hidden extras the price quoted is the price you will pay.
Payment can be made via Sterling Cheque, Sterling or Euro bank transfer or via Paypal (incurs a 2.5% surcharge) Please note I have no facility for accepting payment on arrival.
