Gold Coast Retreat

Always enjoyed staying in the Gold Coast area of Waikiki. More "Travelers" not "Tourists". The suite was beautifully furnished and recently remodeled with granite countertops and travertine bathroom and I just "loved" the shower! This suite was very tastefully decorated not like other Waikiki rooms with your tired generic pink rattan furniture and saggy beds. I strongly recommend staying in this suite. We saw another room in the same hotel with the rattan/wicker look. Waikiki has a parking problem so rent the parking stall too.

No access to the beach; no air conditioning that really worked!; trouble using the bathroom sink (also kitchen sink!); no dryer. We felt we would have been better off at a hotel in Waikiki which would have been available at half the price.

Great Stay

We enjoyed this location alot. Was a short walk to a not so busy beach. Parking was available across the street. Me my wife and 3 kids enjoyed this location alot. I recommend it to any one and with the price it was amazing.

No bath soap or hair dryer. The location was great for us, quiet, parking available. The bed is comfortable... overall we had a blast in Hawaii!! Thanks!

May Stay in Hawaii

The electric breaker kept tripping when we ran a hair dryer so I would have to go to the stairwell each time and reset it. There was no sink to wash dishes in except the bathroom sink. Also there was no laundry basket to put dirty clothes in and no directions that there was a wash machine and dryer in the parking garage area. The air conditioner is in a location beside the bed and doesnt work well. The pull out sofa is very uncomfortable and really not suitable for more than one person to sleep on. The large bed was comfortable. The decorations were nice. And it was clean. The beachfront had a good view of the ocean but no beach with sand in front of it. It was quiet and clean. It is walking distance from Waikiki and on the bus line and there is parking available for purchase which is a must if you have a car.
