Great place, but the pools weren't so great... Danielle R. from Hudson, NH recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2011 We were extremely happy with the unit we stayed in. There were a few pet stains on the carpet, but nothing major...and also expected considering dogs are allowed. This didn't bother us. Otherwise, the place was very clean and comfortable. Felt like home away from home. This particular unit has a deck to a grassy common area, which was great for the kids, and it was a short walk through there to the pools. Now for the pools...there was definitely something wrong with them. We have stayed at other resorts in Lincoln, and we weren't impressed at all with the options here for the "clubhouse" and the pools, but we were told by a maintenance person that someone was aware that there was an issue with both the indoor and outdoor pools. Maybe we came on the wrong week? Tennis courts were a bit ragged, too, but it was ok...we're not avid tennis players. Loon Reservation service was able to provide us with an alternate solution for the pools, however, which made us quite happy. Overall, I loved the unit. If the pools had been usable for us, it would have been the perfect place. |

Ski season had ended early and the summer attractions hadn't opened yet, but we enjoyed our stay very much. Our only disappointment was that the pool in the clubhouse was closed for two weeks for renovations/repair and we didn't know about that ahead of time, but Loon Reservation Service made accomodations for us to use another pool instantly. Customer service was outstanding and looking forward to our next trip. |

Stayed for 2 days in July, 2009 The inside pool area was quite a mess , the hot tub was cold. There was a construction problem with the tiles which was problematic for the little kids to negotiate.Not getting into a place for this much money until 4 and having to get out by 10 AM is oppressive. Property Manager Response: Thank you for the comments. Unfortunately, we have no control over the pool or club house area. That is under the control of the Homeowner's Association. We do understand that it is bad timing to be doing any sort of construction during a holiday period. As for the check in and check out times- If we let guests in earlier and let them check out later-when will we possibly have time to clean the units? Guests want to stay until noon and the next guest wants to check in at 2 pm. That leaves 2 hours to clean- that is just a totally unreasonable expectation. We try our best to accommodate guests as much as possible if they ask for early ckeck-ins or late check-outs. We are more than willing to stretch the times when possible and when requested, but we need to set standards times as a basis. |

However, rental unit was clean, with a nicely equipped kitchen.Outside: Rotting deck, rotting woodwork, peeling paint.Pool house very dirty.Screws/nails/construction debris all around pool area.No good access to river.Deer Park subdivision is much nicer...Newer, better maintained rental units, cleaner pool house, better amenities & river access. |
