Dated Hugh G. from Yarykar, Ontario does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 The rental property was quite dated and could do with some updates. There is a musty smell from the settee and the overall appearance was shabby, torn wallpaper, worn carpets etc.
Great place for a peaceful get=away ~ A guest from Southampton, MA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in May, 2014 Would have preferred a flat screen TV for the living room rather than the bedroom. The suite was very clean & very accomodating. Recreation bldg was great. Next time we must try the pool.
Property Manager Response: Response from Grace's Cleaning Service dba Loon Reservation Service Glad you enjoyed your stay, and we look forward to seeing you again.
A nice place to stay A guest from Glens Falls, NY recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in September, 2013 While it would be nice to have the rental office on the property of the condo we rented, our ground-floor condo was quiet and comfortable for the family. The bed wasn't bad and the building fronted a small pond. The boys loved the property and the pool/hot tub that was available. I wish we could have stayed a little longer.
Property Manager Response: Response from Grace's Cleaning Service dba Loon Reservation Service That is a pretty location and we're glad that you enjoyed your stay. We would look forward to having you stay a little longer next time! (Additional nights usually work out to about 1/2 price.)
Good place, good location, good prices. In one word: good! Veni M. from Washington DC, recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in December, 2012 We spent there a week, and it was great. The kitchen cabinets need some slight adjustments, but overall experience is very positive. Warm, great view towards the lake, nice neighbors. Will come again.
Clean, Affordable, Great View! A guest from Wading River, NY recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in December, 2011 Condo was very clean, with a great view of the lake. Perfect for a family of four! It was a bit 0utdated but for the price, you cant complain.
A Relaxing Weekend A guest from Merrimack, NH recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in December, 2011 Loon reservation is always helpful and makes researching where to stay simple. Our trips and stays in the area are always relaxing. Can't wait to come again!

Stayed for 3 days in August, 2011 We stay at Deep Park every year, I highly recommend resort. The resort and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect with lots of activities and shops right down the street.
Itchy Bites Robert U. from Elizabeth, NJ does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 6 days in June, 2011 The unit was infested with some sort of biting insect...not sure whether bed bugs, spiders, or what. My wife and I are still scratching, and hoping that whatever was in there did not travel home with us. Looks good so far. Also, all the drawers in the kitchen were broken off their tracks. A little basic maintenance would have been nice. That being said, besides the biting critters, the unit was clean and a nice spot to spend a week.
a small piece of paradise Jeffrey W. from Forest Hills, NY recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in October, 2010 we had the most beautiful time in Deer Park. it was comfortable and beautiful. the clubhouse was an added attraction. we only would have liked an early morning swim, it only was available from 10 a.m.
A guest from Westerly, RI recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in August, 2010 The only negative was the fact that the property was listed as having wall unit AC's in the living room as well as the master bedroom. There was no AC in the master bedroom.
David A. from Westfield, MA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in February, 2010 The room was nice and the view was great.I think though for the money spent for the room to ask the occupant to put trash in their car and bring it to a dumpster is out of line. I would'nt put trash in my car at home I would bring a truck. Every thing else was great. Please look at this im sure it does'nt only bother me.
Loved the unit and the location. A guest from Weymouth, MA recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in September, 2009 We stayed on the bottom floor right off the pond which was great, however there was a nasty scent in the hall way and in the Unit :o(
Cynthia S. from Vienna, VA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 4 days in February, 2009 We have stayed at many Loon properties in the past. This one was smaller, and older than some others. We waited too long to make the reservation, and this was all that was left. Next time, we will book earlier. The gym at this location was terrible-old broken equipment
Deer Park 45 A guest from East Hampton, NY does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 8 days in December, 2008 Deer Park is an attractive, well managed facility. unit 45 is not a semi-detached house as are the 2-3 bedroom units which were functionally and attractively laid out. #45 is an apartment in a multiple unit building. It is on the lower level and overlooks a lovely pond. The unit is below grade, in the basement level. It would help if the code to the back door of the building , the door leading to the the parking lot were given to the tenant. Without the code to the side door, a guest must walk back up to the street level from the side parking lot and around to the front door of the building -- a long, cold journey, especially at night and if you have a young child. The unit is underfurnished. Feels bleak and out of date with a mauve and dark blue color scheme and faux-country mass produced sofa and chair. A couple of random posters form tag sales are the wall decor. The bed linens and blankets are scruffy and pilled. Not attractive. The forced air heat is not kind to skin or noses or throats. Some humidification is suggested for health The bed less than comfortable with an open-work scroll of bamboo making it impossible to sit up in bed to read or watch TV. Oouch!, Maybe a foam mattress topper might help, too. The low-wattage fluorescent lighting is not color corrected enough and is very dim, prison-like. Bring your own towels, both bath and swim. The Deer Park Rec center is right next door. It is clean and well run. There's a work out center and a racquet ball court, a small arcade and an activity room great for teens and preteens. One exception, the pool needs more maintenance. It was not being treated enough to keep up with the numbers of swimmers. It was cloudy!!! Yuck. Pool water should be clear and sparkling. Its not like folks were drenched in sunblock and lotions, but even then resorts keep the pools up to public health standards. I seriously doubt the Deer Park pool meets public health code. It was disgusting, truly.
