Nestling in the hills above Alicante Bay, there are stunning views across to the city and the castle of Santa Barbara and northwards to the Crevillente mountains.
The few miles distance to the airport make Gran Alacant a particularly good place to stay as you can be in your holiday rental accomodation in less than an hour from landing and, because Gran Alacant is not on the flight path, there is no aircraft noise.
Gran Alacant is a mixture of villas, townhouses and apartments on a number of different Urbanisations, all with access to swimming pools. The area is quite cosmopolitan with an interesting mixture of nationalities – mainly Spanish, British and Scandinavian own property here – yet has a typical Spanish feel. This mixture is reflected in the bars and restaurants in the area. Spanish run tapas bars, fish restaurants and pizzerias mix happily with British owned bars and restaurants.
Gran Alacant has plenty to offer those looking for a relaxing holiday and also those looking for something a bit more active. With easy access to Alicante city and the excellent motorway network, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. Less than 40 minutes by car is the exciting Terra Mitica theme park just outside Benidorm. Also for children at Benidorm is the superb water park Aqualandia.

Less than 10 minutes away is the picturesque little fishing village of Santa Pola and for the sun worshippers Carabassi beach is just a pleasant stroll away where you can get an all-over tan. The property is located in the area of Gran Alacant and includes all the necessary items that you would need for a self-catering holiday.
Ideally situated for a relaxing family beach holiday or golf and water sport holidays for the more active.
Golf
The Apartment is located just 15Km south of Alicante and so only a short car journey to some of the finest Golf courses on the Costa Blanca
The Apartment is in a quiet urbanisation which is situated at the top of Gran Alacant, nestled into the cliff side and 2 minutes by car from the local beach. It has 2 communal pools. Life guards are on patrol at each pool during peak times.
The urbanisation also has a number of small friendly bars and restaurants situated close by.
A 5 min car journey are the golden sandy beaches of Arenales del Sol. The beaches are wide and bordered by dunes. These beautiful blue flag beaches run the length of the coast from Alicante to Santa Pola (over 11 km of beaches ) and beyond. Alternatively there is a regular bus service between Gran Alacant and Santa Pola and/or Alicante which passed by the beaches.
A car is recomended to explore the local area and would be an asset to travel to Alicante City, Santa Pola, Elche (city recognised by UNESCO) and Benidorm amongst other places on the costa Blanca.
There is also a regular bus service into the beautiful vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Alicante which is only a short ride away, from where you can catch a tram or train to anywhere on the Costa Blanca.
The Lounge has a TV , dining table with 4 chairs and a couch (sofa-bed ).
The Kitchen is fully fitted American kitchen with all the necessary utilities, fridge freezer, oven, , washing machine, Microwave, Iron, Ironing board and all cooking utensils
The bedroom has a double bed (150 cms ), and good sized wardrobe
All linen and towels are provided with the apartment.
