River Rest perfectly describes this pet-friendly Lake Lure Vacation getaway! With over 200 feet of Broad River Frontage, you just step out of the back door and the river’s rushing sounds will transport you. With six (6) bedrooms, and three-and-a-half (3.5) baths (three full and one half bath), this clean and inviting home will accommodate two (2)  as comfortably as 12.

There are two (2) master bedrooms (one has a king and the other has a queen bed) on the first floor with private bathrooms. Another bedroom located on the first floor has access to the half bath directly across the hall. On the second floor there is another master bedroom (queen bed) with a private bath. The loft bedroom has a full (double) bed. The attic bedroom has two twin beds and a TV with VHS player. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room and den. The fully equipped kitchen has the conveniences of home: dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, cookware, utensils and more. All you need are groceries! Dine in or enjoy your meal on the deck overlooking the river.

With this home there are endless options! Go tubing in the river (five tubes provided), jump in for a swim, or grab a pole and fish—all right from the backyard. A two-acre lot provides lots of room for the kids to play as well as a place for the adults to get away from the crowd.

In addition you can also enjoy all the amenities Riverbend has to offer: swim in Mirror Lake or canoe (canoe provided), build sandcastles on Mirror Lake Beach (there’s a play area for children); have a meal at the covered picnic site complete with picnic tables, rocking chairs, stone fireplaces to BBQ lunch, restrooms and spectacular views; hike, bike, or jog one of the many trails; or just sit and relax by the waterfall and river. The fishing is excellent and there is a bait shop just across the road.

River Rest is only ten minutes from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock and just 45 minutes from Asheville via the 74A scenic route. Ingles Market, with its full-service pharmacy, is a five-minute drive from the home.

In addition to the rent the following charges apply:

5% Rutherford County Occupancy Tax (on rent)

6.75% NC State Sales Tax (on rent and reservation fee)

Cancellation / Transfer Policy:

If a confirmed reservation is cancelled or transferred, a processing fee of $50.00 and the $20.00 reservation fee plus applicable North Carolina State Sales Tax will be charged against the Advance Deposit. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival; all funds received will be forfeited, unless the property can be re-rented for the cancelled period for the full amount. Please allow 30 days from the date we receive your cancellation notice for any of the Advance Confirmation Deposit to be returned (applicable only if the unit was re-rented).
