Come to a place where the ocean meets the creek. This beautifully maintained 1917 house situated on the North side of Ecola Creek has a view of the creek and a peek-a-boo view of the breaking waves of the Pacific Ocean. A five minute stroll takes you to the quiet North end of the beach where you will find soft sand and magnificent natural beauty. The house is also just a five minute stroll to downtown Cannon Beach and is furnished comfortably with charming antiques. It has three bedrooms and sleeps eight. The master suite, tucked behind French glass doors off the formal dinning room, has a large central skylight, 4 poster iron Queen bed, and a full bath with step-in shower. Large Southeast-facing windows look out at bamboo trees which sway in the breeze. You can play games by the fireside (with plenty of wood supplied) in the cozy Living Room. Meals can be enjoyed at the formal dining room table for 6, or at the sunny kitchen table in the bright and friendly kitchen in the heart of the house. The main floor has a full bath with a tub/shower combo just past the kitchen. A short set of stairs past the bath either leads you up to a bright, heavily windowed attic-level bedroom with a Queen bed, and child`s daybed, or downstairs to the cozy family room with a cathedral ceiling and TV/DVD&VCR with surround-sound theatre system. The kid`s bedroom has two sets of built-in twin size bunk beds. There are lovely hardwoods throughout the main floor of the house, a full size kitchen with Kitchen-Aid Dishwasher, a fully equipped laundry room and a back deck with a barbeque overlooking a peaceful brick courtyard. Small, quaint buildings which include the fully carpeted and heated Kids Cottage dot the spacious fully fenced and privately screened backyard.
