You can walk to the pool or to the shops for anything you might need. You're granted beach club access to a beautiful, calm beach. The beach club restaurant is superb. You're minutes to some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Kua and beach 69. The home itself is perfect for big families or multiple couples staying together. Having two master bedrooms with master ensuites was perfect. They could almost describe it as 3. We'll be back for sure!! |

The unit is very large and well furnished with every amenity you could want. Full barbeque facilities on the lanai and large separate bathrooms for each bedroom are particularly nice features. Unit is in a quiet secure neighborhood convenient to all Kohala resort area attractions. Its not oceanfront, but great beaches are within easy driving distance. Excellent value for money for what you get. Booking was easy and professional and check-in/checkout procedures clear and convenient. I would stay in this unit again if I return to the Big Island and will recommend it to friends. |

Stayed for 6 days in April, 2011 This was a perfect home away from home for our family. The unit was immaculate and completely outfitted. I believe the only thing we could find missing at all was a hair dryer. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and the bed in the upstairs master suite was so comfortable we were checking to see if we can match it at home. The patio and grill provided a delightful venue for dinners. Having a full laundry made the stay even easier. Access to the beach club was perfect for us although, post-tsunami, there were multiple cabanas without cushions. It is almost embarrassing to mention, given the catastrophic suffering taking place in Japan.At first we wondered about the proximity to the Shops at Mauna Lani but it turned out to be another positive. Good coffee, well stocked shelves, good prepared foods and excellent restaurants. We ate at Tommy Bahamas once and Monstera twice.The responsiveness of the rental agents was perfect. Always available, polite and responsive, they are a great advertisement for the company.All in all, the was one of the most pleasant places in which we have ever stayed and it went a long way towards making it such a delightful vacation. The only suggestion would be....put the house on the beach at the same rental price. Oh well, you can't have everything.Thank you from our family. We will probably ask for the same unit again next year.Larry |
