You will rarely find a house as nice as this for rent. This house sits on a small (25 Acre) lake with 210 feet of lake frontage. At this time there are only a few other houses on the lake, so it is quiet and has spectacular views. The house was designed with lots of large windows for an open and airy feel and to allow every opportunity to enjoy the magnificent view.
The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The house is set up to sleep nine comfortably. There is a California King bed in the master bedroom, there are queen beds in each of the other three bedrooms and one of the bedrooms has an additional twin bed. There is enough room in two of the bedrooms to sleep people on the floor in sleeping bags or on blow up matresses on the floor if you wish.
The livingroom has three large comfy couches. The great room, that incorporates the kitchen, will probably be where you spend most of your time. There are VCR equipped TVs in each of the bedrooms (master bedroom has DVD/VCR). A 42 inch wide screen television with DVD/VCR and lots of comfortable seating in the great room (you can steal all the pillows off of the couches in the livingroom to set up an even comfier spot to watch movies on the floor). The great room television as well as two of the bedroom TVs are wired with Direct TV. There is a fairly extensive video collection (shelved in the den) for your use, as well as some best sellers if you prefer to curl up with a book. The deck at the back of the house is 78 feet long. There is a table and chairs so you may eat al fresco and lots of seating so you can sit out and enjoy the peaceful evenings. We also have a laundry room with full size washer and dryer, iron & ironing board as well as a chest freezer if you prefer to bring all your own food and stay for a month.
The house is in beautiful Hot Springs Village, a gated community, with 8 public golf courses and 1 private. The Private course, Diamante, is only seconds away from the house, as are two of the Village's other golf courses (the second green of Granada is right across the street). 2 of the golf courses were ranked in the top ten in the country and 5 of them were in the top ten for the state of Arkansas. The house is within a few steps of the second hole of one of the courses. The greens fees are very reasonable and we do have some reduced rate golf guest coupon books. The village is also peppered with 11 lakes, some large enough for motorized boats and waterskiing. Others, like ours, are smaller and more intimate, good for fishing and small boats. There are pools within the village as well as public - free access beaches. There are tennis courts and lots of walking and bicycling paths. The village has all sorts of amenities including a workout facility, massages, theatre programs and festivals. There are frequently garage sales and church sales for those of you looking to bargain hurt. For those of you who enjoy a nice drive there are all sorts of spectacular roads both inside and outside of the village. If you are interested in day tours let us know and we can make some suggestions.
The house is easy to find. Unfortunately the area is too new for it to be shown on map quest or google maps yet nor is it GPSable. From the Village's East entrance, off of route 5, it is just a short 2 mile drive in to the house. It is roughly 12 miles into the town of Hot Springs and about 12 miles from Benton (Highway 30 and Route 5 - exit 117). Drive across the village and out the front gate (west) and the Ouachita National Forest is just a few minutes away.
There is plenty to do here if you are looking for activity, but it is also a great place to escape to and just hide out from the world and relax.
We have two rules that are absolutely NOT negotiable: NO PETS and NO SMOKING on the property. We have had problems with this in the past and will not tolerate any infractions. You will lose your deposit and we will sue you for damages if it comes to that.
A $500. deposit is required to hold the dates and have them confirmed as yours and blocked on the availability calendar. In the event that you need to cancel, the initial deposit will only be fully refunded if we are able to re-rent your dates to someone else. If we are unable to re-rent for those days you will forfeit your entire deposit. If we re-rent then you will get your entire deposit back.

We DO NOT ALLOW PETS or SMOKING on the property, A $500. refundable deposit is required as we have had people break this rule in the past. If it is found by our housekeeping that you have brought a pet or smoked inside the house you will lose your security deposit and we will inform the rental companies that you don't abide by "house rules". It is unfair to our other guests and housekeeping to try to sneak in either. Please be kind and don't rent from us if you are a smoker or need to bring your pet.
