This was a beautiful, very clean condo. Views were exceptional. The deck furniture was so dilapidated it could not be used and should have been thrown away so there would be space for other furniture. Other furniture in house was broken and VERY old - couch very dirty. This didn't detract us from having a great time and loving the space - very clean, beds comfortable, etc. I would recommend this with some minor furniture updates (and new carpet). Leah at Pam Harrington was a very attentive rental agent and I was pleasantly surprised when Pam Harrington herself called to see if we were enjoying ourselves. I will always use Pam Harrington for my vacation rental needs. P.S. Leah did warn me that the condo needed updating.

We recently returned from a trip to Kiawah Island and booked our villa with Pam Harrington. We were pleased with our villa in every way. The only downside was this villa needs to replace its outdoor furniture as there were very few pieces which were in a state of disrepair.The kids never missed the pool as we were oceanfront and the rate was much better than through the resort. We will book again!

Great villa, excellent location. We enjoyed our stay at Windswept. Only one complaint - the webpage for this property indicates that wireless internet is available at the villa, but we could never get a connection (which was important to me due to the need to access my office network remotely). I left a message at the office but my call was not returned. I would suggest upgrading the villa with a wireless internet connection (or at least change the website description). Otherwise, everything was great and we would definitely stay there again. Thanks.

Great 3 bedroom oceanfront villa. Very attractive and comfortable. Our only complaint was the lack of wireless internet. We had a great stay and Pamela Harrington Realty did an outstanding job. We've been vacationing at Kiawah for over twenty years, and they're the best without a doubt!

We were disappointed that Pam Harrington Exclusives has no access to any pool on Kiawah Island. We offered to pay by the day or week at Night Heron Pool, but we were told that was not possible. Disappointing!

We have used PHE on many occasions for our visits to Kiawah. We have been pleased with each transaction. We have rented several units but enjoyed this one the most.

Good views, No pool

Overall, our stay in Kiawah Island was okay. The views from our villa were wonderful. The beach area was also great. A MAJOR drawback for us was that we did not have "legal" access to a pool. I was not aware of this when I made the reservations. Nor was it disclosed. Had I know this, I would have found another property with a pool. We have a two year old son and this was a serious disappointment.

Property Manager Response:
Guest signed the terms and conditions which clearly states that there is no use of the Night Heron Pool. We can't help it if people do not read the terms and conditions and we would never tell anyone that they would have use of a pool when renting this property. In fact we always try to inform people, even if they don't ask.

There were rats (yes, rats) in the condo that we paid nearly $5,000 to rent for a week.

We discovered a family of rats (yes, rats) living in the kitchen. Needless to say, I would not recommend this property to anyone. In addition, Pam Harrington's office was willing to refund only 10% of the rental fee (which is the amount of their early payment discount. To make matters worse, they sent 2 refund checks in error and requested we return one of them when they discovered this error 2 months later. When we told them we felt a 20% refund was reasonable under the circumstances and refused to return the check, we were told to to rent through other agencies in the future. We had rented trough Pam Harrington for over 10 years and were VERY surprised at the way they treated loyal customers.

Property Manager Response:
We offered to move Mr. Duke and he refused. We would never subject anyone to a unit with rats. We had pest control in the unit almost everyday and had the problem fixed in a matter of days. We are sorry Mr. Duke experienced this problem.
