The Furst Haus Mittersill Chalet is newly renovated to meet the standards of comfort & accommodation of the 21st century while maintianing all the character and imagination of the Austrian era that typified the original Mittersill Alpine Village. This property is one of, if not the closest chalet to the working ski lifts of Cannon Mountain and now mowed, yet fully natural snow ski trails of Mittersill. You can walk to the lifts and ski home conditions permitting and during summer months you'll be closest to Echo Lake Beach and the Artists' Bluff hiking trail, both perfect for escaping the norm. Location is great - walking distance from Canon Mountain, 20 min to Loon Mountain. Home had everything we needed to be comfortable with two 7 year olds. Nice kithcen to cook in, property has washer and dryer, plenty of hot water, and updated furniture. Three levels of updated living space provides plenty of comfort. Property is right next to Cannon, Artists Bluff, Bald Mtn. and Echo lake. Short driving distances to The Basin, Flume Gorge, and Lost River. Location is very quiet to unwind, yet excellent for kids too.As others have described, the property manager has excellent customer service, and the place was spotless when we arrived. I highly reccomend the Furst Haus. |

Can't beat the location A guest from Fairfield, Connecticut recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 Great house across the street from Mittersill side of Cannon (easy walk to the lift when the Mittersill side is open, otherwise a two minute drive to get to the lifts at Cannon). The house has a separate basement w/ TV, Xbox, etc. and is a great place to hang out when people on the second and third floors are sleeping. The only complaints are that there are no king beds and the ceiling in the third floor bathroom are low and slanted, so it is somewhat difficult for taller people to maneuver in there. Otherwise, the house was very enjoyable and you can't beat the location. |

The Furst Haus is one of the more modern offerings within the Mittersill Village as all aspects of the home but one bathroom have been completely rebuilt-n-remodeled within the past 3 years.
