You can reserve this home online right now!! This is adorable beach bungalow is available during the summer months only. This home is steps to the oceanfront and a short walk over to the bayfront. It is available for up to 6 guests. You can make an online reservation now or give us a call for more information.You can reserve this home online right now!! One week minimum for summer season Sat to Sat We do make exceptions in Early June and Mid August.
This cottage has a wonderful fenced in patio area complete with gas BBQ, patio set, and perfect for your outdoor meals. There is a dining area and small kitchen that offers coffee maker, blender, microwave, and dish-cookware for your vacation.
One of the bedrooms offers a twin bunk bed set up and the other offers a queen size bed with an addtional TV. The bathroom (small shower only) is located in between the 2 bedrooms.
The living area offers a full size sofa sleeper, Cable TV with VCR, DVD. It opens to the wonderful front patio and just a few steps to the beach or bay. One car garage up to midsize SUV located on Jamaica Court in North Mission Beach.

The unit is quite small even with 2 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom with Shower only. If you tried to open the couch in living room you had wall to wall bed. College kids love to party. The unit is really starting to show its age and will need some maintenance repairs in the near future. Enjoyed our "quickie" vacation. Thanks. |

Stayed for 9 days in August, 2010 Water Heater went out on our last day. Also, the bathroom door was not mortised for hinges on the door side. This caused the door to bind and made it very hard to shut. Overall stay was very good. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 We very much enjoyed our vacation and would not hesitate to rent same or larger home through you again. As for our less than 5 ratings - I feel there are things that could use some attention. The house had ants in just about every room including the bedrooms (even the bed). Kitchen drawer hard to open and close. Window hardware difficult to operate, didn't feel comfortable opening windows. Front gate hinge very loose. Front door deadbolt did not work unless lifted hard on the door. Bricks in garage made it hard to access vehicle. |

We have 2 small children and the fenced in front yard was excellent, cottage was nicely furnished with all the essentials. Not so excellent was the non-stop parties on either side of us and accross the walkway. I understand now that there is a noise bylaw, and because we were the only family on the street, it seemed a moot point to complain (at when we did were were told to call the police, which seemed a bit harsh). I was happy to leave the "spring break Atmosphere" behind. I was told that we infact were staying the party area, and should have booked closer to the warf for a less festive holiday. So - if your looking to party with 20 year olds until 3:00am every nigh.... I would highly recommend. |

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 The kids bedroom needs a better layout. The bunk beds are too tall and interfere with the ceiling fan and a child could get hurt while the fan is rotating. Since there is no A/C, the fan is a must. An "L" shaped type of twin beds or trundle bed would be safer. It would also be nice to have lamp in the kids room. There was only the overhead light. Otherwise it is a very nice place to stay. |

Rental for Partiers ONLY no sleeping allowed A guest from Flagstaff, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2009 We love the little Jamaica house, but there was not a night when the noise wasn't a problem. Even the neighbors up the street had to scream at the people next door because of fights and crazy drinking. The people behind were constantly up and down the stairs and partying STARTING at about 11 EVERY night and going until about 3...despite ordinances which prohibit that after 10 p.m. The property itself was good, but the experience was NOT. When the owner's daughter in law stopped by to show the property, she said to just talk to the managers about it. SBR staff were nice but completely INEFFECTIVE in resolving this problem which occurred EVERY night and about which, I unfortunately had to complain more than once.The police were completely unresponsive as well. |

Avoid Jamaica Beach Cottage (unless you are desperate) A guest from Tucson, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2009 The property is very old and poorly maintained. Although it appeared to be recently cleaned, the house had an overall grungy feel to it. The proerty is located very close to Belmont Park, in an area of the beach that is very noisy. There were long-term renters across the walkway at 735 Jamaica Court who drank, swore, and partied consistently; making it impossible to enjoy our front yard and picnic table. In addition, there were two separate nights where it was hard to sleep beause of the neighbor's noise.The DISH Network and flat screen television were nice upgrades.The bathroom had been remodeled, so that was also a positive. |
