This San Diego Vacation Rental is available year round.You can make an online reservation now or call us for assistance.This property is available year-round. We offer a 3 night minimum Sept to May. One week minimum for summer season Sat to Sat and also over the Holidays. - we do make some exceptions in Early June and late August. Holidays have one week minimum but at times we can work around this so please call! We do not accommodate arrivals on a holiday at this time. We have just replaced all of our mattresses- 2 twins and 1 queen with Plush Beauty Rest Mattresses. We also have a new sofa sleeper! Be one of the first to have sweet dreams in this lovely condo! This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom oceanfront condo is available year-round and is perfect for 4 guests but it will accommodate up to 6 guests with the sleeper sofa. The views are awesome from almost every room including the entry way at the stairs! Located on the 2nd floor of this 8 unit complex with a private roof top deck exclusive for your use on the waters edge in Mission Beach at Isthmus Court and Oceanfront Walk. This home offers high speed wireless internet access .
The open kitchen is complete with microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dishware, and even an oceanview. It opens to the living area and looks out at the ocean. The dining area is right next to the kitchen with table seating for four. There is a breakfast bar with additional bar-stool seating that looks into the kitchen.
Watch the sunset and sip on your beverage of choice from the private roof top deck perfect for outdoor dining. Gas BBQ and patio the fireworks from Sea World in the summer time and the gorgeous sunsets year-round! We also offer two beach cruiser bicycles, two boogie boards, and beach chairs for your enjoyment. The living area is cozy with the best view of all. You can put your feet up and watch the sunset, listen to the sound of the surf when you open the window , or just people watch right from the queen sleeper sofa.
There is cable television with a DVD in the living area. There is a view from the 1st bedroom with a queen size bed.
This condominium was built in 2001 and offers some of the best views in Mission Beach.
There is a full-size bathroom with a tub/shower. There is also a stackable washer/dryer located inside the condo. There is parking for one vehicle and the garage is 17 feet long and 7 feet wide. The height is not an issue. If you have a larger group we also have properties that are within walking to this condo so you can rent them together! The homes located just steps away are on our site as Jamaican Beach Cottage, The Sand Dollar, The Family Plan, Sadie's, Mike's and Ray's oceanfront beach house just one buidling over on Oceanfront walk!! 3249 oceanfront walk Paul W. from Arvada, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2013 Pretty good except for,a few things. 1st was the garage. The garage is basically only good for storage. It is so small we parked on the street. It's great for storing the owners stuff but unless you have a Mini Cooper it's useless. This needs to be disclosed. We had a Nissan Altima, not a full size car, and could not use the garage. The deck furniture needs to be upgraded. The $3 plastic chairs fold in 1/2 when one leans back in them. A chaise chair would be nice. Lastly the check out time. 10am is far to early when checking is at 3pm. Other than that the location is great and the price is right. Simple accommodations but just fine. Did find that Sandy Beach Rentals was not the quickest to call back with other issues when they said they would, also found the lady that we were working with not to be very professional. That definitely is something that could be worked on! Would we recommend this property, you betcha we would, just not in January & February as that is when we want it!!! It is a great condo in an even better location. Everything you need is provided from kitchen appliances and utencils to beach chairs, beach toys, bikes and an umbrella in the garage. Deck on the roof is awesome...great for drinks in the evening and coffee in the mornings. Only 2 blocks from Belmont Park. Did not want to come home and would definitely stay again. Only suprise we had was no AC. Coming from Texas, we all figured everyplace had AC, but after opening up the windows and letting the cool ocean breeze in the condo was very pleasant to stay in. I am so glad we chose Sandy Beach Rentals, we will use them again for future vacations. The staff is very helpful and nice. The Beach house has everything you need, it is very nicely kept and very clean. It is also quiet, you do not hear the other units that you share walls with. Two bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys are also provided in the garage. On the roof you have a BBq grill and outdoor seating, a wonderful place to watch the sunset or have morning coffee. The views of Mission Beach are fantastic. Very easy access to the beach and boardwalk...just step out the door :) The locations is great for all other San Diego attractions as well. If you are looking for total quiet, you might ask about a place farther from the boardwalk, as people are out at all hours, but for us it was not a big deal. It was mostly quiet by midnight and everything else far out weighed the late night bikers. Enjoy! Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 The location was amazing, however the other tenants are young party animals and the walls are paper thin. Three out of four nights they had a party outside the bedroom window from 2 am - 6 am. We didn't get any sleep and this was during the week! There were also no trash bags. If we had gotten any sleep I would recommend it but I think that's just the lifestyle of the other tenants that ruined the experience. Just a short walk to Belmont Park. The top deck is great for viewing the ocean and for people watching along the Boardwalk. There tends to be noise along the Boardwalk at night, but if you know that going in it won't be a surprise. The other tenants were very considerate. The garage is small, but easy to park once you get use to it. We would definitely stay here again. |

Incredible location, with endless people-watching, and fabulous surf just steps away. From our rooftop perch, we saw lots of playful dolphins, beautiful young people surfing, playing volleyball, football, frisbee, enjoying the sun and sand. Lots of places to walk to for eating. Appreciated the garage, and having the bikes, beach chairs, and boogie boards was indispensable to our fun!Condo was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable for our party of 4 adults.Rental was easy, and managers were very responsive via email. In the future I would definitely choose a property on the ground level, however that's a personal choice. The roof top deck was not convenient but that's just something we didn't know and will make different decisions next time. The queen bed was BY FAR the MOST uncomfortable bed we've had in all travels - hotels etc. The owner should definitely consider a new bed. We loved how close the unit was to Belmont Park, the third-floor balcony was awesome, and the unit was so incredibly clean! With our previous beachfront stays, ants have been a real inconvenience but they were barely an issue here. Plus, a previous renter had left ant spray which was greatly appreciated. Most of all, we just loved having the extra amenities, like the bikes and boogie boards. Our neighbors within the unit were awesome, although the kids renting the house on the other side of the alley would tend to walk over and party on the boardwalk from midnight on. That?s the trade-off when staying on the beach, though.We only had two issues: location and parking. The unit?s location was directly in front of the surfing-only area which meant we had to haul everything about an eighth of a mile to get to the swimming area. Not a deal-breaker, but a definite hassle. The second issue was parking. Our car, which is not oversized, barely squeezed into the garage and even then it was difficult to get in/out of the vehicle once parked. We ended up tandem parking on the side or leaving the car over in the Belmont lot. Again, more of a hassle than anything.We would definitely stay here again, and would certainly recommend it to friends. |

It was nice to not worry about shoes or packing up a bag to stay all day at the beach, we could walk back quickly if something was needed. The parking space is quite narrow, we have a Murano, but we found it was much easier to back in to the garage. My only complaint was there was almost no storage space in the kitchen for food except for about 5 inches on top of the fridge. We could have shifted the items around in the cabinets and drawers but even that would free up very little space. Maybe a couple open shelves in the dining room or kitchen wall would be helpful. Other than that, it was wonderful, we can't wait to go back! |

It was a joy every day to open the curtains and see the boardwalk, the beach and the ocean in full view. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, whales, regattas, surfers and wind-surfers, and incredible sunsets on most evenings. The furnished bikes offered us the opportunity to explore the area which we did almost daily enjoying the local restaurants and neighborhoods and easily doing our grocery shopping without having to use our car. We were, however, in easy driving distance of the zoo, the airport, La Jolla, and other interesting areas. The only drawback was the small garage area, but that couldn't be helped. The owner left helpful parking suggestions, and by the end of our stay, we were getting the hang of it! All in all, we were very pleased with the unit and hope to return next winter. The Sandy Beach staff was extremely helpful in all ways. It was a wonderful vacation. |

We enjoyed using the beach bikes which were provided to cycle down the walkway and found the near by gift shops and fast food outlets very convenient. The roof terrace was a great place to relax as well as being a perfect spot for watching the fireworks from Sea World at night. We also found the washer and dryer useful during our stay, especially after going to the beach! The boogie boards, which were also provided, were great fun and all the family enjoyed trying to catch a wave in on them! The condo was well lit and hearing the ocean through the living room and bedroom windows was very soothing after a busy day of site-seeing and boogie boarding! Would defiantly stay here again and have already recommended it to family members! |

It wasn't exceptionally big but was good for the 5 of us and there were many more beautiful places as we walked along the boardwalk, none of which we could have afforded, but probably this one. This one was great for the price. It had a nice view from the front window. You heard the ocean crashing all the time, which was a treat for someone from the Midwest. The boardwalk could be a little loud on the weekends, but it didn't really bother us much. Having a washer/dryer and place to cook/barbeque was great. The additional toys in the garage was also a plus, my girls used the bikes and boogie boards. The only possible problem, which wasn't an issue at all during our stay would be the parking. The garage would of held our SUV, but only if my husband climbed out the window after parking. We parked in the extra spot on the side and there were two other cars that we shared the spot with. All three had no issues with moving the cars and arranging who needed to be last in for the next morning, so it was fine. I would rent the place again. |

The boardwalk is nice except on weekend nights, when the younger crowd likes to make noise outside your bedroom window until 4:00 AM.
