A note to Sky and Sea: This condo has many, many dogs. We watched them pee in the hall and the smell in the hall made it clear there were many animals. Other than the freeway noise which was excessive at this level this is a great place. Convenient, nicely appointed, clean.

Doors need to be greased. They were all very squeaky! Dresser drawers were dirty. Need light bulbs for living room light. Need better living room lighting. Need a better vacuum cleaner. It could use a blender, mixer and more serving bowls. Bathroom floor is sketchy. Characters in lobby and elevator also were sketchy. We travel often...all over the world...and the people there made us feel uncomfortable.

Had a wonderful stay, everything was great, and it met or actually exceeded our expectations. Only one comment: it was rather confusing when the keybox was moved upon checkout, but I may not have read checkout instructions carefully enough. Would definitely recommend the Elektra as a great place to stay in downtown Seattle.

My only complaint - and my situation may be different from those who are staying for shorter periods of time or who are travelling for a shorter overall period of time - is that, unless I was willing (and I had to be) to sit by the door from early morning until my mail, or Fed-ex or package arrived - there was no way for me to receive any of that - no mailbox for my use, no staff at most times at the door/desk (when there was someone at the desk, they were not supposed to assist anyone who was not a permanent resident) - I was doing two projects which required two to three deliveries a week - so I sat at that front door many mornings (sometimes into the afternoon) awaiting deliveries.

Overall, the apartment has a great downtown location that was perfect for my family. Only negatives include that it is very close to I-5 (noisy when windows are open) and there was a strong cigarette smell in the unit (which the property manager indicated they have tried repeatedly to eliminate).

The unit was very nice and had great space. Great Location for all of the sites in Seattle. The only negatives to the property were the freeway noise and no AC in the unit.

Lovely condo, building is aging but this room is well maintained. Walking distance to so many things it was amazing. Sea to Sky rentals were so easy to work with and very responsive to all communications. Thinking of planning another trip just to stay in this condo!

This was a very clean, well maintained unit within an older building. Great decor. Parking was a bit tight for our minivan, but doable. I wouldn't recommend anything larger than that. Great location! Close to everything imaginable! I would definitely rent this unit again on our next trip to Seattle!!!

Dear Sea to Sky: We stayed in one of your properties in October 2007. After much looking on the internet for accomodations that would meet our needs...location near my conference, would accomodate myself and my family, would be located in an area where there were things to do for everyone...we were greatly surprised and satisfied that Sea to Sky met all our needs and more. The apartment we stayed in was reasonable in price, very clean, had a lot of perks and was exptremely accessible was wonderful. The office staff also were very accomodating as we requested special billing and information. The only issue we had was the building was a little run down - but had character! Thanks for making our family and business trip so wonderful. We highly recommend your accomodations.

Ths was the second time in a year that we stayed at Elektra 1209. I cannot think of any issues that we have. The place was clean,, well-equipped, building is nice and orderly, quiet, and the location for our downtown and Safeco Park forays is excellent. We plan to stay again in 2008.

we really enjoyed our stay here. it was a very cute place and decorated very nice to. we loved the feel here. easy access to the buses and within walking distance to some areas. our kids loved the place and having more room than they would in a hotel. the kitchen had everything needed to make a meal too. we would definitely stay there again rather than looking for another place!!

We were a little nervous when we entered the building--very dated with a funky smell. But when we opened the door to our unit we were pleasantly surprised! Very clean, very comfortable, nicely appointed. The only issue we had was that the weatherstripping around the AC unit came loose and let in a lot of freeway noise... Location was good for walking (10 mins to Pike Street Market) and close to lots of attractions. Parking is VERY tight so get a small rental car! Otherwise a very nice and comfortable stay...

Our stay was very comfortable. The location was perfect. The condo was clean, everything advertised was offered. We would have liked to use the common room over the weekend but unfortunately it was closed... that was our only complaint.

I loved the location which was very convenient to the convention center - my colleaugues who were staying in hotels during the convention were jealous of my home away from home. Even if I went to Seattle just for a vacation, I'd rent this apartment or another like it. A hotel can never compare to having your "own" place.
