The upscale sleeper sofa has no bars to wreck a good night's sleep and a thick foam mattress for the ultimate in comfort.

For the most part, rental was smooth as silk. We were informed that our initial rental (Met 1011) needed to be changed, as 1011 was undergoing maintenance. We were then upgraded to Met 2214, 2 bedroom/2 bath unit at no charge. 2214 is even better than 1011, and it was a very pleasant surprise and upgrade.Only hiccup was on our departure. We were notified that we didn't return our parking pass. I read the agreement and a parking pass is issued only if requested, and we never requested one, plus we never received a parking pass upon arrival. Even the other floors in hall ways were dirty. Seemed the only floor they cleaned was the 8th floor where recreation was. Workout room was not clean either. Loved the location. Once we got there we never saw front desk person. Always had a sign up that they would be right back. Was asked not to talk to the people on lease side the first day, but sign said go to that side if you had problem. New title in the foyer will be nice, when they get it done. Appreciated phone call to let me know I could get in the unit earlier than was clean, and we enjoy the amenities: pool, terrace. Computers did not work well in business office and could not print boarding passes which caused great inconvenience at crowded airport. Carpet was very soiled and an embarrasment. Drawer in bedroom wouldn't close. No product to clean bathroom or kitchen sink, i.e., Ajax. Upholstered furniture is getting a little soiled and wooden furniture is getting marred. A very pleasant space and location. Just needs to be maintained better. |

Stayed for 5 days in January, 2012 My wife and I took the Light Rail from the airport to downtown (Westlake) and then it was a short two block walk to the Metropolitan. Our stay was just right in the apartment. Our only complaint was the lighting. The bedroom lacked lighting for reading and the rest of the apartment with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom had less than desirable lighting. Other than that, our stay was close to perfect. The 8th floor was awesome with the pool, sauna, steam and work out facility. We even played a few games of pool in the library. We will rent again from Sea to Sky!! |

And when you walk into the living room and turn around, you're looking right at the Space Needle. If the view during the day is awesome, at night, when the Space Needle is lit, it's even lovelier. The unit was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We took advantage of the building's amenities on the 8th floor (pool, spa, sauna) on many nights. We did have a few issues:1) When I originally booked the unit, I was told that there would be no problem with an early check-in if the unit was not occupied the night before. I specifically asked about this because our flight was arriving at 8:30am. However, when I called the day before our trip, I was told that there would be a charge for an early check-in.2)The toilet was broken when we arrived. However, I called SeatoSky and they promptly sent over a repairman who installed a brand new toilet that same day. I was impressed by the response time. The place was ready as promised, and in very good shape.Location is absolutely perfect. It is close enough to the downtown area that it is only a 5-7 minute walk to Pacific Place, but far enough away that it is very quiet at nights. The building is very comfortable, clean, and has very good amenities.The only concern is with the knives in the unit. The knives are extremely dull, and a hazard to use. Regular sharpening would help lessen the danger (next time we rent the same place, i may bring my own knife sharpener).Otherwise, it was nice to come home, cook a nice meal, and then flop on the couch to watch tv. Staff at the Metropolitan Tower are friendly and greet you with a smile. |

Spent 10 nights in this gorgeous apartment with husband and our 2+yo and 1yo toddlers and enjoyed every minute of it.Very spacious apartment - enough room for the kids to have a play in the living room and not get under your feet. The pics don't do it justice. The place is spotless and tastefully furnished. Lovely, well equipped kitchen. Clean, fresh linens provided. Building is very quiet - you don't really hear your neighbors coming or going and the residents are very friendly.We had a view of the Space Needle from our balcony..Nights are quiet with the occasional fire truck or ambulance. The sofa bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept on. Overall, sleep quality is very good here.The heating was a bit temperamental but we didn't bother to get anyone to reprogram it for us. No problems at all with the Internet or wifi - in fact it was super speedy.Great amenities with a gym, heated indoor pool, sauna, barbecue areas. The guest lounge on the same floor as the pool and deck can be hired out for private parties.Sea to Sky rental was very proffessional and concierge provided exceptional service.Location can't be beat with Nordstrom, Macy's, Sephora, Barneys New York and more shopping just blocks away. Wholefoods supermarket is just 2 blocks away on Westlake Avenue. Great range of organic produce and they have delicious prepared meals to go. This is Seattle so Starbucks is everywhere.If you love sushi, I highly recommend Red Fin just around the corner. Its a sushi bar/ cocktail bar. I caught up with an old girl friend for amazing cocktails and the freshest sushi here. Great spot to be seen in yet you can actually have a conversation with your company and not have to shout through any thumping music.Will stay here again. |

The only reason I could not give 'property general condition' 5 stars is that the coffee maker leaked while brewing.Other than that, metro 1011 is an outstanding place to stay. Everything was clean, spacious (for 2 people), and very comfortable and most importantly, quiet. Location was perfect, only 2 blocks away from Pacific Place (5 minute walk). 10-15 min walk to Pike Place.Sea to Sky is a very trustworthy company to deal with. Very professional and responds to emails in a timely manner.The only bad thing I have to say is I think people are now discovering this gem and it is becoming harder and harder to find an opening with Metro 1011.The gym is ok (good cardio equipment, ok weights though), the tvs for each cardio machine is a nice touch. |

When we called to ask the property manager about the TV, she was very direct and did not sound like she cared about our frustration of the TV matter. It was like being at home A guest from Nashville, Tennessee recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2007 I live in downtown Nashville and found this Seattle property very familiar. It's in a great location, convient to most downtown sights and filled with downtown noise. Having a grocer right nest door made it a very easy place to stay. |
