SURVIVED RECORD HEAT WAVE IN SEATTLE Gilbert F. from Tuscon, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2009 The condo was very convenient for business and sight-seeing. It was a bit uncomfortable during the record heatwave Seattle experienced in August, particularly because there is no air conditioning, nor even ceiling fans. It was very noisy at night since we had to keep the windows open. Suggest removing some shelving in small second bedroom and install rods for hanging clothes. |

seattlenativereview Jessica S. from San Jose, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2009 First of all, I would like to state the positive aspects of my stay: 1) convenient location, 2) well-stocked kitchen, 3) clean place, and 4) spacious. Here are some of the negative aspects: 1) no one greeted me on my arrival, despite the fact that it was well before 10 PM (promise in letter not kept), 2) many items in condo were not in good condition (coffee maker did not drain, so I bought French Press, sinks had bad stoppers, bathroom fan kept on running), 3) incredibly noisy (lots of homeless people were making racket until 4 AM), 4) no air-conditioning (this was a problem, since the temperature went up to 89 degrees on one of the days, and other days, it hovered at 87 degrees). In order to justify a rental price of $275/night, which is similar to the Grand Hyatt Regency and other four-star hotels, air-conditioning should be provided. The cost of an AC is $2800-$6000, which is not very expensive, given that it lasts 20 years. |

Noise, no a/c and hard beds led to a Sleepless trip to Seattle. Great location; Great Decor. A guest from Indianapolis, IN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2009 We did not spend much time in the condo, but loved the location and the tasteful decor. It was in a great neighborhood with an Italian restaurant and coffee shop at the lower level and several sushi places within a block. It was an easy walk to Pike's Market with boutique shops along the way. There were a lot of street bums on 2nd avenue, but they were not really a bother and we felt safe as a group of four.We had a group of four adults. Our stay was in early July. Inside the condo, we found it to be warm and stuffy. There was no a/c and the open windows were not arranged in a way to generate a cross-breeze. At night and in the mornings it was noisy with cars and construction crews so we had to leave the windows closed in order to sleep. The sleep was not the greatest as both beds were very hard - an eggshell topper would have gone a long ways to remedy that. We woke pretty sore each morning. The guest bathroom had an exhaust fan that seemed to start and stop on its own which seemed to be in the evenings into the morning. We could not find any controls to stop that (granted, we did not call the rental company on the issue). The condo was very attractive inside, though the master towel bar was a double bar and the lower one fell out easily and was not totally functional. We ended up taking it out for the stay then putting it back into place upon departure. If we were to return, it would be questionable whether we would choose this unit due to the beds - the mattresses were awful. Also one of the unitowers in the courtyard questioned us being there - he said that the association is trying to eliminate renters and threatened to call the cops on us.Overall, it was a good stay - we loved Seattle and the Belltown neighborhood; we will definitely return to the area again...just hopefully we won't be Sleepless next time! |

Sleepless in Seattle! A guest from San Jose, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2009 Way too noisy! This place had construction going on across the street, bars up and down both sides of the street, cars raced down the street until at least 3 A.M. And no A.C. to even muffle the sound. We had to close all the windows (which did not really help) and then it was very hot. For the price we expected a little more in the way of amenities too. Nothing special there. The kitchen was stocked, but barely. It was more hassle than it was worth to try to cook. Also, it says it sleeps 6, but we had 5 and it was a very tight fit. The building itself was nice and the indoor pool/spa and exercise room (again no A.C. or fans) was nice for all of us. If I had to choose again between here and a hotel with free breakfast, and A.C. I would definitely go for the hotel. |

Love Seattle! Joanne C. from Hillsdale, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2009 My daughter and I stayed in this condo while in town visiting my son. The condo was great and in a very good location. We walked to restaurants, the markets, parks, Space Needle and rode the bus in the free ride zone if we were tired of walking. The bus makes a stop right outside the front door. We would definitely stay here again. You could hear the sounds of the city but it was not overly loud. And we never heard sounds from the neighboring condos; they are very well insulated. |

A Pleasant Home Base A guest from Soquel, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2008 This rental worked well for our family (2 adults, 2 young children). We were able to walk to museums, restaurants, and grocery stores. Although city noise is inescapable, it wasn't a big deal - even for those accustomed to quiet. The dishwasher, however, is so loud it should be run while you're out and about. Having a fully-functional apartment with amenities vs a hotel room was definitely the way to go with small kids (and ultimately cheaper). We would stay here again. |

Three Condo Rentals at BELLTOWN COURT Martha M. from Langley, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2008 The orientation was complicated and I ran into some problems, mostly with the parking arrangement. Getting in and out of TWO different sides of the Belltown Court got confusing. The most difficult part of the three day visit was the STREET NOISE on the 2nd Street facing condos: #442, #643The sound caused all guests to have restless nights. The rooms were HOT and only one fan. I was promised a 2nd fan but it was never brought. If windows were left open, the NOISE continued to keep people up! Sea to Sky MUST make guests aware of street noise. This was HUGE. All keys should be presented at time of orientation. Guests should NOT have to walk to a lock box to get keys. I enjoyed my interaction with your office staff. The location was good and I enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. |

Mostly pleased A guest from Aptos, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2008 Overall the place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. The two nits I would mention are i) the beds are rock hard, and ii) there is no AC. The reason no AC was an issue was because it meant leaving the windows open to be cool at night and that let all the street noise in, not good for the light sleeper. |
