The first day and a half I wanted to leave. We had a horrible time getting off the mountain. The directions that we were given to get to the cabin were excellent but no reverse directions were given. I reversed them myself but one of the roads was not called the same on the way down as it was up! Heiden on the way up, Echo on the way down! Buy once we figured that out, we had an absolutely amazing time. The view, the cabin, the bears!! Although we did not get use of the hot tub due to the fears of the bears sneaking up on us, all was Great! Will definitely be coming back. Just maybe not so far up the mountain next time. Thank you for a week of Heaven!

We enjoyed our stay. It was snowing when we got there and we arrived after dark so the road were icy And scary! The cabin is located pretty high up but thank goodness we made it! The view was amazing!!! The only negative thawe could fine was there were no sheets or blankets for the pullout sofa, but we made do. The cabin was clean and suited our needs. We made lots of family memories!!

My husband and I had the best time during our honeymoon.. The view was wonderful. The cabin was clean and just perfect for us and our stay. I would reccommend this cabin to anyone wanting a great view, close to gatlinburgs main drag, and you have the perfect spot to wave to the tram riders going up the mountain to Ober :)

OMG is all I could say as I pulled up to our cabin and when I stepped inside I jumped up and down with excitement like a child, the cabin was even better looking than the pictures online, it was super clean!! and welcoming, everything that the advertisement promised it delivered!! The view was amaaazing and although we were renting a chalet it felt like I was visiting a friends home. If you are considering this cabin, just go for it, the climb up the mountain is definitely worth it!!! We will be back every summer for sure

The road & driveway can be heart stopping. The view from the balconies is of the Gatlinburg city lights at night & the tram up the mountain. It would be nice of towels could be dropped off instead of the long drive into town.

The chalet was very nice overall, nice kitchen, appliances and kitchen ware. The master bedroom was great - nice bed and like-new pillows. However, the cushion on the couch that was supposed to sleep two was very uncomfortable (thin and worn out) and the felt on the pool table was extremely dirty - stained brown.

Directions very good, Street signs left a lot to be desired. Very easy to get lost. The driveway is not for anyone with a weak heart.Due to illness had to leave early, but overall was a great place for getaway. ,with fantastic view.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The chalet was located close to everything, shopping, sightseeing and adventure. After spending our days hiking the Park, we spent our evenings relaxing in the jacuzzi tub, playing pool, or rocking in the chairs on the deck while checking out the night lights in Gatlinburg. This is the first time we've rented a vacation home and it won't be our last. My only criticism is there was only one trash bag available for the kitchen can so you may want to bring extras if you plan to do much cooking or eating in the chalet.

The chalet was clean, however, there were a few things I would like to point out: -The cloth on the pool table needs repaired.-The water for the jacuzzi gets cold before you can fill it up. -The light bulb does not work on the hot tub.-Everytime I called into the management office, I was put on hold for several minutes.Other than those things, we were happy with our stay and unfortunately didn't see any bear.

The furniture desperately needs to be updated. The couches were uncomfortable and the bed in the Master is very broken down and uncomfortable. There was a hairball in the shower upon our arrival. The ceiling fans and artificial plants were very, very dusty. The cabin location is spectacular with a wonderful view and we love coming here, however, for the money we pay to stay there, we may be forced to look for another location next visit in order to be comfortable.

We have rented this chalet & from Am. Mt. Rentals multiple times & have always been extremely happy with each stay. The chalet--great location,gorgeous views,has all you need.The staff at is fabulous-love them all!The only negative is that this chalet needs to have a deep cleaning done-it obviously hasn't been done for awhile.Would highly recommend this company & this chalet to anyone.

We stayed for our honeymoon. This chalet was completely awesome and the staff was very helpful. Pictures online were pretty close to actual. We will rent this place again. Word of advice keep a camera handy at all times we saw a bear twice missed it the first time but got pictures the second time. Worst part of the trip was having to leave. We would have stayed longer but the place was already taken.

The Chalet was great. It was like having a home away from home. The only suggestion I have is that visitors that live in a flat state, tell them & have on your info to be sure to put your car in first gear when coming down the mountain. I did see a sign about that when we went to the top of the mountain but it would have been nice to have known that when I first got there. thank you

We enjoyed out stay at Heavenly Vision. The property was clean and well taken care of. Had an outstanding view of the mountains and the City of Gatlinburg. Wasn't as much privacy as we would have liked because of the ski tram. The office personel at AMR were very nice and helpful. We have rented from AMR and will continue to do so.

The cabin was wonderful althought the cue sticks for the pool table had no tips. The view was fantastic. However, be prepared, the road up to the cabin is very steep with some vicious turns and the driveway was also steep.

The cabin was great for the most part. Everything was clean except for the greenery which was very dusty. The view was spectacular. The one thing I did not like was the driveway. There was not much room to move in a vehicle, but it was okay, we just backed up very carefully. The weather was good also except one night it stormed really bad and the power was knocked out. The power was only knocked out for a couple of hours. It came back on a lot sooner than I thought which was good. Overall we had a great vacation and we would definitely visit the Heavenly Vision cabin again.

We didn't know what to expect because we had not read any reviews on this particular cabin but we were more than satisfied! The cabin was perfect. The view was probably one of the best, it was clean, great condition and was super cozy! I researched for over a year for the perfect cabin and I will never have to look any further. We will return next year without hesitation!

Had a great time! Overlooking Gatlinburg and next to Smokey Mountain National Park, this was the perfect spot for us to decompress after our daughter's wedding. The leaves were still beautiful and the view was great! We had a good view of Mount Leconte and the valley. We counted 6 mountain ranges down thru the valley. Look Forward to staying here again in the future.

My wife and I had a great time with our stay at the Heavenly Vision chalet in Gatlinburg. We stayed 4 nights and found plenty to do each day we were there. Being from Nashville, we've been to Gatlinburg a few times before but this was our first stay with American Mountain Rentals. Most people reading this already know all about Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so you're probably looking for information on the chalet. The chalet has a great view from all 3 levels, it was clean and the price was very good in comparison to other companies renting chalets. The only thing I would change, which is minor, would be to add a stand alone ironing board with good padding on it. The ironing board was attached to a closet door and the pad kept falling off. It took me a while to iron my cloths. As I said, this is minor but it seems it would be easy just to store the board in the closet. We really enjoyed the pool table, hot tube and gas fire places at the chalet and the kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee filters and bottle openers. The view of downtown Gatlinburg was nice and also a reminder of how close we actually were. We found it easy to park on River Rd. for free when we did go downtown and it was a short drive from the chalet. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at this chalet again and hopefully we'll be back soon.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had all of the amenities to make you feel at home. It was cozy and comfortable. The views were amazing. I loved being able to look down into downtown Gatlinburg and then look over at the Smoky Mountains. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away in the Smoky Mountains. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The chalet and its view were gorgeous, and we loved the amenities. The set-up was great, and the decks were magnificent. The hot tub overlooks downtown Gatlinburg - it was great! We enjoyed seeing the Ober Gatlinburg tram go right by the chalet.The cleaning service and property manager were VERY disappointing, unfortunately. The property mgr provided turn-by-turn directions to the check-in office, which was great. She also gave us maps and a lot of other info. However, she kept coughing all over me without any sense that non-stop coughing on a customer was wrong. Then, when I had to return to the office from my car (less than 1 minute after I checked in) to get a document which had inadvertently been left on the counter, she became rude and retorted that she handed that paper directly to my husband (which was a blatant lie since my husband never came to the counter or interacted with her). At that same moment, I immediately found it on the counter right in front of her, but I received no apology for her lie or the implication that my husband lost it. The cleaning service is getting paid for nothing; the chalet was simply NOT cleaned prior to our arrival, except for maybe a very minor 'once over' with Windex? The trash was removed, but that is the renter's responsibility. The carpet wasn't vacuumed (there were actually clumps of a woman's long hair on the bedroom floor), the bathroom floor had hair and dirt on it, there was a quarter-sized dried urine spot on the toilet in plain view, several of the dishes stacked in the cabinet had food on them (not stuff the dishwasher missed - these were greasy/moist, food chunks which showed someone ate off the dishes and stuck them back in the cabinet), there was thick dust on the furniture, wood, and kitchen counters behind the regularly used up-front areas. There was a 'MAID'S TIP' envelope displayed prominently on the kitchen counter, but ironically, behind the toaster/blender in thick dust, there was an o

Overall, a good stay. However, the check-in lady was short w/ us even though the reservationist was very friendly. The pool table was in VERY bad shape, and we chose this cabin over another based solely on the pool table. Very dusty inside, the blinds were broken. The satelite on the 2nd floor didn't work. Extremely religious decor. "Secluded" apparently means surrounded by 6 other cabins and a tram directly overhead every 20 minutes all day every day. People were waving to us in the hot tub.. we enjoyed ourselves, but it was more despite the circumstances than because of them. I feel I was misled.

The cabin was great, the view was outstanding but the driveway was horrible to get in and out of, especially at night. The only other complaint would be that the hot tub was on the front porch for all to see and it was a very basic tub. I think for our next vacation to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg we will stay at a hotel in town. This was great if you don't plan on going out and doing some walking in Gatlinburg but for us we like to be a little more in the mix.

The view from this chalet was fantastic. Every floor had a fantastic view and our stay was generally comfortable and enjoyable. The furnishings in the chalet were adequate but dated and in need of repair or updating. The dishes were cracked and one broke during the use of the dishwasher. The pool table surface needs replacing. One recreation room chair was broken on our arrival and unusable. The water heater was inadequate for more than one use of the jacuzzi by one person per night. Other than this, our stay was good and enjoyable.

Overall it was a good stay. Staff was friendly. View was beautiful. The best floor was the master suite (3rd floor). From the pictures on line, I thought there was a flatscreen TV on the 2nd floor, which there wasn't and I also thought the hottub was on the 2nd floor balcony, but instead it was on the bottom level. Those things were no big deal though. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great overall. We would love to stay at Heavenly Vision again and would recommend it to others. Just a couple of things that could be repaired... coffee pot spout broken, chair in gameroom broken, dead batteries in remote for T.V., the furniture and plants were dusty, and the glass windows were dirty in the living room. I would recommend the cleaning people to clean the windows for such a lovely view. We loved the Christian theme throughout the chalet. Thank you!!!

This was my first time to Gatlinburg TN & my fiance and I are so happy we selected this chalet. 3 words sum up our stay at this chalet. 1. Relaxing 2. Breathtaking 3. Home away from home. It was so hard to leave. We even saw 2 bears a& have amazing pictures of this & video too. Only complaints I have is the lady at the rental office wasn't that helpful & gave us wrong directions so we almost ended up in Cherokee NC in the mountains with no cell phone reception & hardly anyone knew how to get where we needed to get. Also the house phone wasn't working & I called the office to let them know but it was never fixed. Its also a very steep ride up to this chalet but so worth it. The views are just spectacular. Also it's a very sunny chalet which is fine with us since we are up early. We loved the location & also got to eat some great meals & also picked up some groceries at the grocery store off of 321. Thanks for the memories!

We have stayed at cabins & chalets all over the coutry, from top of the line to low end properties. This one falls somewhere in the middle. The management was helpful and the directions to the chalet were good. We were pleased to find a nice (not excellent) view. 5 minutes to G'burg is an excellent location. The price was right for what we got. A few items that could make this place much better: the front door lock needs attention (hard to lock/unlock, we informed the mgmnt of this on departure), numerous light bulbs need replaced (outside secrutiy lights, too). The shower curtain rod is about to fall off the wall. The windows & sliding glass doors needed cleaned (water spots & fingerprints). The BBQ grille is the pits! A permanent grille would be ideal, but at least one better than a $19 grille with wobbly legs... dangerous! The only other things we would have liked to see: (we realize these are not management issues) the spa on the first floor is a long way from the bedroom on the upper floor. A better spa location would have been outside the back door, on the 2nd level, where it is not quite so far from the 3rd floor bedroom. We own a top of the line hot tub, so we were not impressed by the 110v unit and the lack of jets and power. Also, it rained 2 days while we were there, and there was no dry spot to sit outside. The 3rd floor deck only has a gable-end overhang, the 2nd floor deck is dry until the 3rd floor deck gets soaked, then the water drips through to the 2nd floor deck, and the same on the ground floor porch. We would have loved to sit outside and watch the trams go by, but you get wet when sitting on the decks. Also, a screened-in area on one of the decks would have been nice. We would stay at an American Mountain Rentals again, but would ask for a different property.

My wife and I stayed 6 nights here for our honeymoon, and it was wonderful. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The view was amazing, especially in the morning, looking down on the clouds covering downtown Gatlinburg. It is a heck of a drive up the mountain, and the driveway is like a 60-70 degree angle, so when you start up it you'd better not stop. Overall, I would love to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

To follow the route up the mountain was difficult for a flatlander, very difficult after dark. I made a poor choice in that the house had 3 levels with 2 large sets of stairs, to much for an old guy. The house was clean except the many,many artifical plants were covered with dust. Looked like they needed to haul them outside and fire hose them off. We did see 3 bears come through the yard.

The house was nice and clean and the rental company was ready to do everything the can to make us happy. For example: They want you to return the keys to the office, but since we did not want to drive to Pigeon Forge they let us leave the keys in the house. They brought the extra linens for the kids when we asked, even though it says in the contract that they are not suppose to. The hot tub is very nice - look at the stars or the lights of Gatlinburg. May be not that good when it rains - but the weather was great during our stay. The best view was just before the sun rise: Sparkly Gatlinburg blanketed with patches of fog, surrounded with black mountains and the sky turning red above it.

The accomodations and location was exactly what our family was looking for. The only downside to this location and management company is the key drop off. From this property, I had to drive down the mountain, through Gatlinburg, to Pigeon Forge and then back to go over the mountain. With holiday traffic, stop lights, it took over an hour to get to the Parkway.

The Water heater had broke before we had got there. So the bottom floor was soaked and had a bad smell the guy came out at 10pm to fix it, but it smelled the whole time. they wouldn't upgrade me or even offer me any money back, called mike the manager and he said the place didn't smell at all, and then offered me $40 all in all i wont go with american mountain rentals ever again. tn is worth going just not with that company.

Two very small bits of feedback - directions from AMR to Heavenly Vision said "N Tamnis Ct" but it was actually labeled "N Tamnis Dr" on the sign, so we missed our turn. We figured it out quickly however because the mileage was very good on the directions. Finally, the drain stopper in the jacuzzi didn't quite seal, but a washcloth jammed into the drain made it leak so slowly that we were able to enjoy a long bath without refilling the tub...Took our 3 boys (4, 2, and 8 wks) and we all had a fantastic time. About 2 miles from the Smokies national park and Gatlinburg, up in the mountains just west of the main drag. Saw a bear 0.2 miles from the property with her 2 cubs. Would definitely go back and might bring more family next time. Would definitely rent from American Mountain Rentals again in a second. Loved the website - felt like we had seen the property without actually being there yet. It makes all the difference!

We rented Heavenly Vision for a weekend getaway for my daughters 14th birthday. The cabin was beautiful, the views awesome, and the location great. We especially loved waving to the tram riders and the hot tub and pool table. This is a great cabin for a couple or small family. It was spotless clean and had everything that we needed. The home was a cozy layout. The hot tub was very relaxing. The view was spectacular! We needed to get away from the everyday life of phones, kids, dogs, work, and housechores. It was the most relaxing weekend getaway we have ever had!

This was our anniversary trip and we actually lost a deposit with another rental company b/c we decided we liked your cabin better. the bed slept so badly that my husband pulled the chair over to the bed and slept 50/50 chair/bed. the 2nd night we took a sleeping pill to try and rest and still wasnt able to rest. there was also ALOT of light bulbs out. we actually switched some to have light in areas we needed it. we actually checked out a night early due to the bed and drove 3 hrs home @ 10.00 pm local time. when we checked out the lady at the office wasnt even sympathetic to our situation. with the money we lost at the other cabin rental company plus what we spent to stay with your company our anniversary trip wont be forgotten. the chalet was awesome with a great view but none of that matters when you cant rest due to bed and then on top of that something as simple as light bulbs not being checked and then throw in the office personel just there to collect a paycheck. me and my husband wished we had just stayed home and saved our money.

The blinds in the upstairs bedroom were missing and broken. We felt that the hot tub was not in the best location as compared to other cabins we've stayed at in the same area.

The hot tub was dirty upon our arrival and some one was sent to clean it right away. However there was a 50.00 charge to us that I felt was unfair.

This was the first time we had ever stayed at a rental property there at Gatlinburg. We thoroughly enjoyed it!! We loved everything about the rental. The view was excellent and even though there were other houses around, we still felt secluded. I would definetly recommend this property to someone else! We will rent with American Mountain Rentals again if we go back to Gatlinburg!!

living room furniture could have been more comfortable. unit was clean as far as sinks, tubs, counters, sheets & towels but there were cobwebs, dirty windows, and picture frames look like they had not been touched in a year or so.
