The hot water heater would not fill the tub.The tub would only get half way full with hot water and then the water would turn cold. They said it was seculed and it was not. I went to check in and was told to come back in 6 hours when the cabin was not rented the nite before. I asked for directions to the cabin and if I could call back for the code to the locks and was told no I had to stop back at the office. Check in time was not until 3:oo. Also the hot tub is out in the wide open. The guest in Halleluia can see everything from thier windows and porch. I work in the hospitality business and I can say I was disappointed in the service at check in.

Sweet Sensations had an amazing view and was a very cozy spot, perfect for a relaxing get-away. Bring everything you need the first time to the cabin as we did not like driving back and forth to town. It is a pretty steep incline 60 degrees or so and no where to turn around. A four wheel drive vehicle would be best.

Overall, we had a very good experience. We were somewhat disappointed in how close the cabin next to us was, primarily because their deck looked right over our eating and hot tub area. We also were surprised considering how nice the cabin was that the living room furniture was not. The sofa and chair were uncomfortable to sit on. I was glad that no one had to sleep on the pull out bed. Finally, there was an odd odor in the cabin that smelled strong especially when entering the cabin. It was a very sour smell...perhaps from previous pets that had been there ? We never did figure it out. All that said.... the downstairs bedroom area was lovely, the kitchen more than sufficient and the views amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed eating each meal outside and relaxing in the hot tub(just would have loved a little less of the children next door) :)

The ladies at the desk at the Check In location were great, very helpful! The first Cabin checked into had a great view and that was about it. You could tell that either no one had stayed at this cabin for a long time or the cleaning company was not doing a great job. There were dead bugs on the fire place mantle and behind every piece of furniture, a majority of everything was dusty and there were some cob webs. After the first night, we complained to the check in office and they moved us to a new cabin with less of a view. At the second cabin it was not as dusty but there was cob webs in plain site, while playing pool, I noticed a foul smell coming from the air vent in the floor, but it was too late for us to want to complain and move cabins a second time, if I turned the A/C on the smell would take over the cabin, about 6:00 AM the next morning we heard loud scratching in the wall below the vent by the pool table, so we assume the smell came from an animal living in the wall. We reported it to the Check In office and they said it could be a Flying Squirrel? But we only had one more night at the cabin and the Check In office did not offer for us to move to a better cabin. But over all, the front desk was very Nice and Helpful, but, I think there is a lack of communication/supervision of the Cleaning crews for American Mountain Rentals.

I LIKED THE INSIDE AND THE VIEW OFF THE BALCONY, HOWEVER THERE WAS SEVERAL THINGS IN THE CABIN THAT WAS NOT WORKING AND GETTING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY SPOT WAS VERY HARD WITHOUT MESSING UP YOUR CAR, BUT OTHER THAN THAT WE LOVED IT WAS VERY ROMANTIC.

My husbnad and I stayed over the 4th of July and we had an excellent time. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The location was very convenient with a gas station store right at the foot of the mountain and a Kroger within a few miles. It is also very close to the main drag and the property management company. These became very important factors after a long drive and a lot of traffic to sit in what with the holiday crowds. It was private with few neighbors and very romantic. Thanks!

The cabin was really nice and clean when we got there. It looked just as nice as in the pictures. The view was breathtaking. I've been to the area a few times in the past, but this is definitely the way to vacation in the Smokeys!

American Mountain Rentals was especially helpful when a cabin across from us caught on fire as well as 70 acres of the woods. We were unable to get to our cabin do to the fire dept. blocking the road. American Mountains Rental called me and told me what to tell the fire dept. to allow us to get to our cabin. It was much appreciated and above and beyond. Thanks so much!!

The property was very nice. The only drawbacks that we found was that it was close to other cabins and the jacuzzi didnt work. We were looking for a more private cabin but there wasnt anyone in the cabins closest to us until the day we left, so that helped. But it was a very nice cabin.

THE OVERALL STAY WAS FAIRLY GOOD THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS LADYBUGS AND BEES KEPT GETTING INTO THE CABIN FOR SOMEWHERE OVER A PERIOD OF ONLY ONE HOUR I KILLED ABOUT 6 OR 7 BEES IN WHICH MY WIFE IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE CABIN

This was the second time I have stayed with this company and I was some what dissappointed at the condition of the cabin. I was not told at check in that this cabin was pet friendly or I wouldn't have rented it. The sheets were dirty, the blankets were covered with dog hair and the cabin had an investation of lady bugs! I contacted the manager and made him aware and he offered no help or compensation!!! The wonderful experience I had the first stay with this company was erased buy this stay, and the worst part was this was my honeymoon and I spent a large portion of time vacuuming ladybugs and dog hair instead of spending time with my wife.

Attack of the Lady Bugs. As at our house, hundreds of ladybugs made it into the cabin and few around our heads and died near the door. I tried to put some outside but couldn't keep up. Even woke up with one in bed with me. So that was a challenge. Everything else was nice

we had a great stay at our cabin, but i wood not recommend it to someone else due to the roads getting to the cabins. it is a very steep road and when wet or iced, it is very dangerous (even for 4 wheel drive trucks). there is no where to turn a truck around and not enough parking. you have to drive to the top in order to turn around your vehicle.

I have stayed at some very remote hunting camps, but the well water in Sweet Sensations is the worst I have ever smelt. We were almost afraid to bathe in it. Other than the water we had a wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful and the views were amazing. This is the fourth cabin we have rented in Pigeon Forge and it is our favorite. We will probably return! The location of the cabin was perfect for us, it was very convenient to the strip.

The Sweet Sensations cabin was perfect for a weekend get-away with my fiance. It was just enough room for the two of us. The view was spectacular and breath-taking. We were a little uneasy about the steep hill up to the cabin but once we drove up it, we had no problems. the cabin was in a perfect location for shopping and dining in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Our only complaint is that we were unable to stay longer.

Had a great time. Superb view of the mountain range. Wish the fireplace was real and the water smells like surfur was the only down side. The kitchen is well stocked with items including a wine opener. The hot tub on the deck is great for watching the sunsets and the hammock with a great cup of coffee for the sunrises. Kroger is not far so we cooked in the entire time. Last day spent in the park, checking out the waterfalls. We will be back!

We usually rent from another cabin rental company in Gatlinburg but decided to give AMR a try since most of what we were doing this trip was in Pigeon Forge. I was very pleased. The view was great! When we asked the staff questions they knew the answer and were very helpful. We did have a slight bug problem in our cabin, which we were understanding of since we were in the mountains surrounded by trees. This problem in no way hindered our visit. I would rent from them again. We had a very nice trip and I hated to say goodbye to the cabin!

This location is excellent! It felt secluded but was very close to everything. The view was amazing....we sat on the swing every day and marveled at how beautiful it was! The house was also very nice and had everything you needed. I highly recommend it!

Loved our stay! Can't wait to come back sometime. Other than a large spider waking me up one morning, the only complaint I would have is the TV. Not being familiar with satellite TV, we couldn't even find the weather! Also a larger size TV would have been nice in the living room. But hey, we weren't here for the TV anyway. :)

The Staff was very helpful and answered all my questions with ease. The Cabin was by far more cozy than any hotel room. The view from the hottub on the deck was breathtaking at sunset. The cabin itself was equipped with all the amenities you could want Sat. TV, phone, Diswasher, dishes, silverware, jacuzzi plus a hot tub. The locations just minutes from the main drag in town overall Awesome Vacation Spot LOVED IT!!!!

Overall the stay was nice. However, prior to checking in I was never told about the possibility of scorpions. We saw a note about the scorpion problem once we arrived at the cabin, and I thought that was just precautionary. Our first night there, I was proved wrong. I was stung by a scorpion in the middle of the night. Yes, it was in bed with me. They did come and spray the next morning, and it did take care of the problem. Overall though, the cabin was clean and nice. I won't stay at this particular location again because of the scorpion issue.

The cabin was great, the view was awesome. The toughest part was the road to the cabin, it was really narrow and not a lot of room to move over if you met a car. Otherwise everything was perfect.

I wish we could have stayed longer. It was so beautiful there and it was the perfect getaway for a couple celebrating their 5th year anniversary. We spent our days hiking the trails nearby and visiting Gatlinburg. At night we'd watch movies in either our outside hottub or the jacuzzi bathtub. It was a romantic few days and we would love to go back.

We were in Tennessee for the 'Honda Hoot' and for the sightseeing in Cherokee. But the highlight was always returning to the 'Sweet'. Very nice, very clean, and very quiet. Good bed, clean bath, nice wrap around lanai with soothing hot tub, cute 'hello gift',and let's not forget the wonderful view. The only little thing was that tremendous sharp turn into the driveway. If you're operating a Honda Goldwing (big bike) and a not so small wife (me), it looks intimidating but at least you improve your driving chops. No big feat, as I said, it's only a little thing. But you'll forget it once you step into the 'Sweet."
