The technician who came out offered for us to stay at the Smoky Retreat and it was a very beautiful and clean cabin with a nice view. One problem, BEARS came on our porch every night going through the trash, we witness this. Need a BEAR proof dumpster away from the cabin so the bears won't come on the porch. Couch and chair worn out, and stale smell. Comforter's on bed dirty. |

A Dismal Smokey Retreat A guest from Ringgold, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2011 The furnishings were dated. The furniture was dusty. The mattress and pillows had stains. The hot tub was very nice and the kitchen had all you could ask for. For the price it just seemed it could have been decorated better and offered more luxury. Shower was not good very little water pressure. Hard to feel clean. The location was good. All in all just too expensive for what was offered. |

Stayed for 3 days in December, 2010 but, please chech the bathroom up stair, and the chairs in the dining room, plus under the carpet in the living room there was alot of dirt , i have to cleaner my self plus in the room upstair there was wine glasses under the bed. and they should collect the gargage every day , i dont know that but an aminal thrut my gargage all over theplace, so i hve to pick it up but any way it was a wanderfull stay.. thank you. |

Stayed for 5 days in November, 2009 We rented the cabin across the street a couple of years ago "I Can Only Imagine" which was outstanding in every way from location to charming and spotless, etc. This one turned out to be just a place to stay for us. The knobs didn't stay on the closet doors. The jacuzzi's jets were not the cleanest (had hair in a couple of them)there was only one small pan for baking and both pull out beds were not even usable. The foose ball table had several broken heads on the players as well. I guess after staying in the other one with Amer. Patriots, this was a little bit disappointing. Also, I called yesterday to see if someone would look for my son's wallet, and I was told that when the made gets to it they will let us know but there were over 100 checkouts so she didn't know when that would be. We really need that wallet.Thanks!Karen Kimball |

I spent the night listening to them scurry about. My husband even had one on his side of the bed. Now I will say that the office did find us another rental for the next night. However, management has refused to compensate us in any way for out first night stay, say we should have expected that after all we were in a cabin. Now I don't think that whwn you pay over 200 dollars a night you think gee I may be sleeping with mice. I will never us American Mountain Rentals again because of the way management treated us. |

Stayed for 7 days in June, 2009 Well - overall the experience was nice. the automatic starter on the grill did not work and no lighter was made available so I had to go out and buy one (which I left for the next customer. Also - not one of the remotes for the living room tv worked on the television -no channel list was available and since most of your renters are probably from out of town - that would be helpful. Also - the dvd player was not connected so we were also unable to use that as well. Just a few minor things that you might want to correct for the next customer. |
