Position: Morzine is an attractive Alpine village with masses of real Savoyarde charm and tradition. Set amongst stunning and lush mountain scenery it provides an excellent base for a host of outdoor activities: moutain biking, hiking and paragliding in the mountains and white water rafting, canoeing and fishing on the lively river Dranse. The ski lifts operate in the high season summer months and open up the mountains for exploring. The chalet is ideally situated a few minutes' walk from the centre of Morzine village which has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants as well as superb leisure facilities such as tennis and a riding centre. It is 35 miles from Geneva and 25 miles from Lake Geneva at Evian and Tholon les Bains. The chalet looks out onto the open slopes at the bottom of the mountain, a ski run in winter. It has the free use of the swimming pool (11 x 5m 26/06-03/09), sauna and tennis court at the Hotel Champs Fleuris, 30 yards away. Each apartment has a telephone for incoming and local calls only. The Morzine Multipass is available for 1€ per person per day, offering unlimited access to a wide range of activities in the area.
