The village from the pool
|

A traditional Provençal stone house, spacious and rich in character, Le Grand Tilleul offers great views over the hills of the Luberon region. It is located in quiet countryside between the towns of Gordes, Bonnieux and Roussillon.
The house is surrounded by a garden full of flowers, which is well tended by the owner. The large private heated pool is fenced for safety, and has steps leading into the water. A covered area has a built-in barbecue, with a table and chairs available for outside meals. A pair of bicycles are available at the house for touring the quiet local roads, and there is a table-tennis table in the back garden.
The living room The interior is painted in the traditional Provençal colours and furnished with antiques, with many wrought iron features. The main entrance hall leads into a large living room with plenty of comfortable seating, tiled floors, and a pair of double doors leading out onto the terrace.
The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with an American style fridge, electric oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
Upstairs are three bedrooms: one with a king size bed, one with a queen size bed and one with two single beds. Each bedroom has a built-in wardrobe. All three rooms are well-decorated, bright, and comfortable, with windows offering spectacular views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside.
There is a modern bathroom, a shower room, and two separate toilets. Linen and towels are supplied, and a maid comes in for three hours once a week. The house has an alarm system for the security of guests. A baby bed and a high chair are also available.
Swimming pool: 11m x 5m private heated pool, open from May to mid October.

Rental conditions: A 30% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is payable 30 days before arrival. A damage deposit of €500 is also required at the time of arrival and is refunded at the time of departure. Linen and towels are included, as well as 3 hours of weekly maid service. Normal use of electricity and heat (if necessary) are also included. international phones call non included, as well as central heating during the long stay for which a special rate is applied.
