The kitchen has a dishwasher, built in microwave, stainless steel oven and plenty of cabinet and counter space for storing and preparing food. The front outdoor patio has wicker chairs, and the back patio has a table that seats 4, umbrella and a BBQ, great for cooking for family and friends!
The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two full beds. There is a full bathroom between the living room and the kitchen. There is a den that is detached that has a queen bed and a full size sleeper sofa with an adjoining bathroom.
There is a washer and dryer and 1 parking spot.

It's the BEACH! Brett D. from Glendale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 Upon arrival, we found that the house was not completely ready. Dirty hand towels in the bathroom in main house still on the rack. There were no soap bars nor extra toilet paper and a minimal roll of paper towel in kitchen.. There were virtually no condiments in the kitchen: salt/pepper. Minimal items that were here last year were gone. Housekeeping brought TP and we went to the store to replace items. We apologize that the linen service forgot to pick up the dirty hand towels in the bathroom, that is something we have brought to their attention. Good: Great location! Bad and ugly: The house hadn't been cleaned when we got there. One of the toilet seats was in pieces. The alley was dug up and new cement poured every day at 7 a.m. Ants in the kitchen, ant traps on the counters. House needs ceiling fans in each room--it's very hot in the house. We apologize that the property was not clean and missed by our cleaning company, this is not our goal. We strive to provide the best services, especially cleanliness on all of our properties before any family checks in. We wish the previous guest would have reported that the toilet seat was broken. We have since fixed the toilet seat and have informed the owner to have regular spraying for ants. Unfortunately we were not aware of the construction in the alley and we apologize if it disrupted your vacation. We have been staying on the Peninsula for 30 yrs and this was G8! Brett D. from Glendale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 Had to call in for some plumbing service on the Sunday after we arrived. Basil was quick to respond. Seems the previous tenants did not let you know that the kitchen disposal was causing backup. The bathtub is also slow to drain. I told the staff on Saturday that when we checked out of this issue. It did not detract from our stay. |

Our Beach House Vacation A guest from Downey, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2008 We have an absolutely fabulous time at this location! It's a great little house on a great little street close to the beach and the parks and the Wedge. Also close to restaurants and many fun things to do. Our only complaints about the beach house this time (and this is our third time there) is that the windows and window shutters/blinds are difficult to manage. The windows are very difficult to open and close, and the shutters/blinds feel like they're going to collapse. It gets very hot in the house, so you need to open the windows daily (and close for security when you leave and open when you get back, etc.) so this becomes a hassle. It would be nice to have more fans in the house, either ceiling or floor fans. Another thing that we found uncomfortable was the living room furniture. The couches are just not comfortable. Other than that, it is a wonderful, wonderful place! |

Their explanation was that the property hadn't been raised in years. We had only rented last year, so feel the rent should have stayed the same for the same place. |
