Vacation Condo Rental Description:
Very nice 3BD/2BA + loft upper unit located just 2 houses from ocean! Large living room, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, rooftop deck and BBQ. Gorgeous ocean views! W/D in unit. WIFI/Cable/DVD/Linens. 1 car garage (no SUVs).
This two-story upper condo has 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms + a Loft. Located just 2 houses from the beach, you get exceptional ocean views from the upper patio and rooftop deck. It features a fireplace, new stainless steel range/oven, BBQ and washer/dryer.
The master bedroom has a king bed and an adjoining bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has 1 single double bed and 1 single twin bed. There is a separate bathroom located outside of the second bedroom. Upstairs there is a loft with 1 single double bed and 1 single twin bed. There is a wet bar and sink in the loft as well. The couch in the living room pulls out to be a queen sofa bed.
The kitchen has been recently updated with a new stainless steel range/oven, microwave and fridge. There is a dining room table that seats 4 and an additional 2 seats at the kitchen breakfast bar. There are 2 couches and a coffee table in the living room and sliding glass door that leads to a patio with ocean views. The rooftop deck can be entered from the loft. It has beautiful views of the beach too, with a patio table that seats 4.
There is a private washer and dryer located in the unit and parking for 1 spot in the shared garage (doesn?t fit an SUV).

Noise level pretty high at this location with loud music until late. House was comfortable and good location. Enjoyed our visit and thankful for this home. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 The house is really nice and the location is wonderful, it is close enough to walk to many restaurants, the pier and the grocery store.The house is in good condition except for the rugs. They are WAY OVERDUE to be replaced which I comment on every year.The new refrigerator and BBQ were good adds this year. Great location, great owner! Jessica H. from Phoenix, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 The property location is great for my family. I love being able to walk everywhere. The garage was plenty big for my minivan which was a plus. When we got to the property, we noticed a few things that were "problems". One was that the gas grill on the main living level was inoperable (although there was a charcoal grill on the top deck). Much to our surprise, the owner went out and bought a brand new gas grill and dropped it off himself on Sunday morning!! A second issue was that when I called ahead to find out how many baby gates I should bring to keep my toddler from falling down the stairs, they told me that I needed only one. There were actually 2 sets of internal stairs PLUS 2 separate single steps in the hallway. Burr White ended up bringing 2 extra gates for me the next day. Consequently, both issues were resolved quickly. Overall, the property was very clean. I would just like to see the sofas either changed out for something that wears better or get a good deep cleaning! Finally, the master bed was fairly comfortable, but the frame may have been too small for the bed (when you sat at the foot of the bed the whole thing tilted). Nevertheless, from the 4 properties that I have rented in Newport Beach in the past, this one was the best value overall. There were a few changes this year (the new flat screen in the loft was nice) but this place could be great if the owner just replaced a few of the less expensive items each year, such as the throw rugs and the BBQ grill. |
