Vacation Home Rental Description:
This charming two story single-family home is located in Peninsula Point and is two blocks from the beach, near the infamous surfing spot known as "The Wedge." There is a lovely patio facing West that gets full sunlight during the afternoon and is ideal for lounging or hosting a BBQ with friends and family.
Large windows span the front of the living area allowing the sun to brighten it up. Off the living area is a dining room set for 6. A spacious kitchen has plenty of counter space and a center wooden island on wheels makes cooking dinner for the whole family easy and clean up will be easy when you use the dishwasher. There is access to a nice courtyard through the kitchen door.
There are two bedrooms downstairs and two additional bedrooms upstairs. The beds allow for sleeping space for 8 guests. Two rooms have queen beds, and two rooms have double beds. Two full bathrooms accommodate guests staying in this unit.
There is a two car garage and washer and dryer (non-coin operated) available for use.

1746 E Ocean Blvd (68125) in Balboa, CA, United States. A guest from Chino, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2012 I feel that the property mgmt company should have charged the off-season rate as building construction was going on next door (and it looked like it had been for months). When I'm on vacation I like to sleep in and relax. That never happened. The realtor comment that "Nobody had mentioned anything to us in the past." is pure b.s. as far as I'm concerned. Also the matresses haven't been replaced in the last 30 years. This being said under normal circumstances I would give a rating of 9/10. We are disappointed to hear that you were woken up by the construction, unfortunately we can't control the neighbors. Big Vee's Tips Verne C. from San Dimas, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 We had a very nice stay in Newport. However for what we paid we felt there were many things that should have been better. The floor was not clean, the throw rugs were not clean, the dresser upstairs did not close correctly, the upstairs TV did not stereo, no cleaning supplies (dishwasher soap should be supplied). Before we rented we asked Burr White about the place and if there was a DVD player, about the TV, the BBQ, the downstairs second bedroom (we had sttayed there 5 years ago), etc., and were given no answers so we brought supplies we did not need. The prices continue to be held or go up yet the property is maintained with as little expense as possible as we continue to pay more. Next year we will check into properties at other beaches and on VRBO as well. It is hard not to have a great time in Newport Beach but we felt like we paid too much. |
