Over-looking Tamarindo Bay, Playa Grande and the Pacific Ocean, you are guaranteed a magnificent sunset each evening. Located just 10 minutes away from the center of town, this home is ideally situated. The beach is within walking distance as well as many restaurants, bars and shops.Casa de Valor has three bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a private bath, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The second bedroom has air conditioning, ceiling fan, and a king bed. The third bedroom has twin beds and also has a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living area, open to the kitchen has A/C, cable TV, DVD, Stereo, and high speed internet.

Casa Valor - Christmas 2011 Kathleen W. from Inverness, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in December, 2011 My family and I stayed at Casa Valor from December 23, 2011 - December 31, 2011. Overall our experience was a very positive one! The house is very nice and simple - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and a living room area. The outside was where we spent all of our time. There is a porch on the roof where the best views are but that area doesn't seem like it is used very often - so we moved furniture up there off the porch by the pool. The pool was very nice and refreshing and we spent several days just laying around it.The only downside to this house was where it was. The house is very close to town really only a 10 minute walk, but the walk is down a very large hill and on dirt roads so the walk would be VERY difficult if you had any health issues. The walk up the hill was by far the worst part - I did think that it helped me after all the meals we ate in town but again if you were not in shape the hill would be very hard and also potentially dangerous.The town of Tamarindo is beautiful - the beaches are georgous and the whole enviroment is very relaxed. The staff at RPM services was extremely helpful also - they responded within minutes to any issue we may have had. Our internet was not working when we first arrived at the house. It was over the holiday and it was difficult to get anyone from the phone company out - but our house manager Mario was readily available to come over and check on any issue we may have had. He was great! Everyone else we had talked to was so helpful and they made the experience extremely enjoyable. |

I know it was a holiday, but we had trouble with one shower, no hot water or it stuck on hot, and a sewage smell that they could Kathleen B. from Waunakee, WI recommends this property. Fabulous coastal view and awesome sunsets. Howler monkeys in the trees directly behind the property. Iguanas in the yard/garden. Five minute walk to town (Tamarindo). I have stayed at Casa Valor three times now ..and will continue coming back.The furniture is somewhat dated and the place could use some paint. That said, the high-speed internet worked flawlessly, and the appliances are nice. The property manager is great. Very responsive and helpful. If you want a 5 star hotel, stay at the Four Seasons. If you want house with a view, your own private swimming pool, iguanas and howlers, for half of what you'll pay for the Four Seasons, CASA VALOR IS THE PLACE. |

Very Disappointed A guest from Estevan, Saskatchewan does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2010 Although the view was beautiful, the location of Casa Valor was not convenient. The walk down into Tamarindo was enjoyable, however, the walk back up the hill in the extreme heat became exhausting!! We enjoyed the private pool and the RPM staff were amazing. Having said that, for what we paid for our stay, the cleanliness of the home was a huge disappointment. The kitchen in particular was disgusting; so much mold in the coffee maker, it had to be replaced! We had a problem with ants,spiders and even found a scorpian in our son's room. With a little TLC, the home could be much more enjoyable. |

The location is *perfect.* Wild monkeys in the trees behind the house, several large iguanas in the yard that eat from your hand, view of the Pacific Coast, 5 minute walk to town/beach, clean, cool, high-speed internet, good security, adequate amenities, and RPM (property manager) is responsive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. |
