Questions? Contact us at. Classic Tahoe charm, describes this cabin. Set back away from the road, this private cabin is perfect for a relaxing vacation in the woods. On the first floor, you enter the living area, which offers a cozy atmosphere with the wood-burning fireplace. There is one TV with cable in the home, which is in the living area. For extra sleeping, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Also on the first level is the kitchen with a door to the side deck, where you can access the HOT TUB. The dining area, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bath with a tub/shower are also on the first level. On the second level you find the comfortable main bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with a two twin beds and sofa sleeper and the second bathroom. This property also comes with Wifi.

Stayed for 3 days in October, 2011 This property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Homewood, CA on the West side of Lake Tahoe. If you are looking for a rustic cabin with updated bathrooms and jacuzzi hot tub, this would be a great choice! It's an 8 mile drive from Tahoe City and a 20 mile drive from South Lake Tahoe so a rental car would be best or bring your own. The cabin is cozy and the jacuzzi is in great condition. Motion sensor lights in the drive way really helped when we arrived late in the evening during a rain storm! |

Perfectly cozy cabin in the woods Wendy B. from San Jose, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2011 This cabin was more than I expected. I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights while skiing Homewood, which was less than 2 miles away. The cabin is private, has a wonderful hot tub outside, is nicely appointed with cable and wireless access. The beds are very clean and comfortable, and the cabin has a great wood-burning fireplace. I do recommend you bring your own firewood as the firewood was buried in the 6+ feet of snowdrift while we were there! We will definitely be staying here again. |

We are not sheetrock lovers, so this cabin fit the bill. We came during a huge snow storm - it was not easy to maneuver getting out every morning with the snow piling up on our cars and driveway(we learned about the local snow-plow-driveway lady!), but other than that the home is in a great location for skiing at Homewood or other nearby resorts. The hot tub was great, though the first night it was only set to 85 degrees so we had to wait for the 2nd night to use it. After that it was great. Loved the loft room for the kids. Plenty of blankets and the kitchen was well-stocked. The fireplace could use more kindling stocked for the first night - was hard to get a fire going - but once we bought good kindling it was great. Overall a great little cabine and a real jewel! |

The hot tub was wonderful and the sleeping porch upstairs was our favorite room. The only issue we had was that the Wifi password was not included in the advance literature, or in the notebook at the cabin, so we couldn't connect. There was no one in the office to call over the holiday weekend, so I would encourage the owners to include that information in their materials. Also, make it clear to renters that the TV is for DVDs only. Other than that, it was wonderful!!! |

Stayed for 2 days in January, 2011 I was so excited pulling up to the cabin located in a friendly neighborhood which I am very familiar with. The cabin is located at the bottom of the hill which was very convenient and has a long driveway which fit two large trucks since there is no parking on the streets. Outside was a charcoal bbq and a spa, both of which were utilized and very much appreciated after a long day of skiing. The inside of the cabin was very cute, perfect for a family or getaway with friends (ours was the latter). The inside was also very well maintained, neat, and tidy. The fireplace helped to keep the cabin cozy and warm, the thermostat was not even needed. Space heaters are located in each room which were great for warming up the cabin upon arrival. Each room was warm and inviting. All the beds were comfortable however, I would recommend bringing extra blankets if you will be sleeping the maximum occupancy of eight. It would be great if the owners could invest in an extra down or heavy comforter for folks sleeping on the sofa mattresses. We were provided with small necessities such as dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and etc. All in all, everyone was impressed with the cabin and had a great time! I would recommend this cabin to anyone considering a stay in beautiful Homewood. |

Stayed for 2 days in March, 2010 I thought the reservation process was very smooth. However I was disappointed with the interior of the property. While the bathrooms were clean, the living areas were very dusty and I found food and heavy dust underneath and inside the sofabed. The property was also very cold and when we turned on one the space heaters the power went out. Luckily, it was still daylight so we were able to find the fuse box and restore the electricity. We attempted to light a fire but the wood and tinder were so wet that we were unable to do so. |

The house is an older vacation home that could best be described as rustic, cozy and imbued with lots of character. The electrical circuits are at capacity and initially we lost power frequently until we learned to balance the load. The instructions for the house need improving such as where to find the circuit box (and spare linen). Despite a few initial problems we had an enjoyable stay. |

Stayed for 1 days in August, 2009 The place was dirty. The toilet didn't flush. If you closed the bathroom door, you got locked in. Xmas decorations abounded even though it was August. No curtains in one bedroom. Mildrew and dirt all over. Property Manager Response: The toilet and the door were remedied immediately. The owners were advised to take down decorations. The cleaning was addressed as well. |

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2009 Property had a nice wrap around porch, however tere no furniture to sit on the porch. Dusty furniture inside caused allergy problems. All the Christmas decorations up in the cabin in July seemed real wierd-made it uninviting. We would not stay again or recommend this rental. |
