This traditional family cottage sits on 3 well- treed acres and is very private. With 400' of ocean frontage on St Margarets Bay and 600' of frontage on a small lake, it is an ideal escape.

During the summer, kingfishers fish in the lake, and early morning and around dusk, you will often see a heron fishing in the lake or the ocean. On occasion, our guests have seen whales and dolphins.

The large south-facing deck has a teak dining set and barbeque, and is a great place to relax. The living room has a wood burning fireplace. The children (and some adults) will love playing on the shore. We have an outdoor cedar shower (in addition to the indoor one!) - perfect for rinsing off the sand and salt at the end of the day.

A second building (2 wings, each 12'x20') is often used as a rustic studio or bunkhouse, and is an ideal place for children to play on rainy days.

Black Point is 40 minutes from Halifax, and an ideal place to vacation.
