Nice Place to stay overall
Alice H. from Royal Palm Beach, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2016 The cabin was clean and organized. Layout was nice and we had 8 people in the cabin. 4 adults/ 4 kids. It was tight, but it was enough. Kitchen was nice and fully stocked with utensils and pans as well as plates/bowls/mugs/silverware, etc. Tons of storage everywhere to put your things away in the Bedrooms as well as groceries in the kitchen. Plenty for all to use. Not much to do at the property itself, but it was a comfortable stay and only 10 minutes from Gatlinburg. I would recommend for a family of 4, but if you want to save cash like we did, fitting 8 was not bad either. It sleeps 8 comfortably with 2 BR's and a pull out.
Nefertari B. from Dayton, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2016 it was so clean everything was so nice and neat we have everything we need good in the kitchen I can't wait to stay again and the only problem we had was the water heater Apparently one out that Saturday night so we had no hot water but they were very helpful and timely trying to get it taken care of it just got too late in the day and we had to leave we were unable to shower that last day which was very unfortunate the other than that everything went well
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for your kind review. We are happy to hear that you had a wonderful stay, with the exception of the issue with the hot water heater. Thank you for bringing it to our attention Sunday morning. We sincerely apologize that the maintenance technician was not able to complete the repair prior to your departure. We certainly understand this was an inconvenience to you and your guests. The technician was able to isolate the issue, he found debris in the gas valve. He was able to clear out the valve. The hot water heater is fully functional once again. We hope you will consider coming back to stay with us during your next visit to Gatlinburg. Please keep in mind, as a returning guest you will enjoy 10% off all future stays. We hope to see you soon!
Rachel K. from Twin Lakes, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2016 Very nice location, just outside the town of Gatlinburg. Cabin was nice, perfect for 4 people. Would definitely stay at Elk springs resort again, but would try another cabin.

Jack H. from Pensacola, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2016 We had a group of four and a small child. The cabin, and property was wonderful. Everything we expected it to be! The downtown part of Gatlinburg is just a terrible tourist trap. Nothing cute or unique as far as shopping or restaurants. It all seemed like it needed upgrading, and the people were not friendly or helpful at all. I recommend staying away from that area, and just enjoy the cabin area.
Nicole H. from Milford, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2016 We booked Tucked Inn at the last minute - the house is beautifully furnished and well maintained. We loved looking at the snow fall outside of the huge glass windows in the livingroom. The kitchen was well appointed and very clean. The only drawback for us was the ramp leading from parking to the house . It's extremely slippery when wet without a proper guard rail to hang onto. I did end up falling and jamming my back up a bit. It snowed during out stay and I scraped salt off of the road to put on the ramp. Also there should be a vacuum available for guest use. Picking crumbs off of the rug is no fun and not very effective at maintaining a clean house
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for choosing Elk Springs Resort for your last minute get-away. The snow is almost magical to see, however, we do understand the challenges that it brings. We are sorry to hear about your fall at the cabin. Please always remember, we are here to assist you during your stay. We will be happy to send one of our maintenance technicians to help clear and salt the path to the cabin. Your safety is top priority with us. We hope you will consider us for your next last minute get-away. Please keep in mind, as a returning guest you will receive 10% off all future stays.
A guest from Chicago, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2016 The cabin exceeded our expectations, very clean and well furnished.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for your 5-Star review Anthony! We love to hear that we were able to exceed your expectations. We hope that you will be able to return soon to enjoy the first class get-away that you will come to expect as our guest.
Damon M. from Columbia, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2015 The cabin was perfect for what we needed: 4 guys on a friends' vacation weekend. The Cabin was plenty big enough with space for us all to have room to spread out a little. The hot tub was nice after a day of exploring downtown, which is just about three miles down the road. The only downside is the fact that there are cabins all around you. The community is very secluded, the cabin itself is not.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for your kind review, Damon. We value your feedback. It is nice to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. The location is perfect for Tucked Inn. It is convenient to downtown, but far enough from town to get away from the hustle and bustle. Please contact us when you are ready to start planning your next guys weekend. We have a great selection of cabins that are more secluded, but still close to all the attractions. Our friendly sales representatives will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect cabin. Our returning guests enjoy 10% off on all future stays, so please ask for our returning guest discount.
Ravi J. from White Plains, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2015 Stay in tucked inn cabin was overall good, with some difficulties like on network and power tripping off in the night and no one returns the call back when you in emergency. But rest everything was provided and very comfortable stay
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Ravi, we are very sorry for any issues you experienced during your stay with us. We had no reports during your stay of any problems or we would have immediately had maintenance come to the cabin to check them out for you. Our customer service department answers phones until midnight every night and then our answering service takes over. We would have welcomed the opportunity to fix these issues for you while you were our guest. Aside from these issues, thank you for letting us know that the cabin was very beautiful and you had a relaxing stay.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2015 The cabin was clean and absolutely beautiful! There were only 2 issues. There was no extra toilet paper and since the cabin sleeps 8 or 9....that was an issue. The lights on the back of the deck were burned out and we couldnt use the hot tub the first night since it was pitch black and not safe. We ended up going to the store to buy toilet paper and light bulbs. Overall we were happy with our stay
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Maryam, we are very sorry about the issues you had during your stay. We would have welcomed the opportunity to address these for you while you were our guest. We do try to inform you, via email prior to your arrival, of the items that your cabin will be stocked with. As for the light bulbs needing to be replaced, we would have dispatched maintenance to take care of that for you. Our Customer Service Department answers phone calls until midnight each night and we could have had maintenance at your cabin within 30 minutes from the time they were dispatched. Again, our apologies for the issues you experienced. We will work harder to make everything perfect for your next stay, so you will give us nothing but 5 stars!
Nancie L. from Plainfield, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 The cabin was wonderful. Unfortunately by daughter became ill as soon as we settled in and we didn't get to experience much. The Elk Springs staff was so accommodating and helpful. They allowed us to extend our check out time, as my daughter ended up in the Emergency Room. Will definitely recommend Elk Springs and would love to return.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Nancie, we were sorry to hear about your daughter being ill, but we were glad we could help with directions to Urgent Care and extending your check out time. We do hope you get the opportunity to come back and enjoy another stay soon! We appreciate your kind review.
Amber M. from Newark Valley, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 We had a wonderful experience with Elk Springs Resort the cabin was beautiful and ready for us when we got there!!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for sharing your experience with us Amber! We are pleased that you found everything about the cabin and your rental experience to be to your liking. Hurry back for some more Great Smoky Mountain memory making!

A guest from Brookfield, Ohio does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2015 Great location... Close to Gatlinburg and easy back way into Pigeon Forge... Great cabin, very nice amenities... Hot tub, grill and picnic table a plus... Very nice place to escape to... Planning on going back...
A guest from Punta Gorda, Florida does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2015 There were a few problem with this unit. First the up stairs toilet leaked(we call and it was fixed quickly). Second the dishwasher was broke (we didn't figure this out until the end of our stay and notified resort upon leaving). Third: Grill had rusted burners of which only half of the grill worked. The grill was so dirty we had to buy cleaner and a scrubber in order to use the half that worked. Forth: The deck, deck rail and picnic table was filthy. Fifth. Hot Tub pump is so loud that we only used it once. Sixth. There is no roof over the back deck, so, when it rained there was no place to sit outside. The only part of the deck that is covered is the side entrance which is only about 4 feet wide. The inside of the cabin was very clean and nice.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, things sometimes go unnoticed until a guest stays in the cabin a few days and lets us know about certain issues. Once they are reported to us, like the toilet leak that you mentioned, we fix the problem as quickly as possible. We do pride ourselves in having a 5 star rating on our cabin cleanliness and we are pleased that you found the inside of the cabin clean and nice. We currently have our maintenance staff pressure washing all decks, railings, picnic tables and walkways to make them look pristine again. I'm sorry we didn't get this cabin done prior to your stay.
A guest from Phenix City, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2015 We stayed in Tucked Inn and it fit us perfect. Everything was clean and set up just the way we were told. Only thing I did dislike was the carpet being dirty. Couldn't ask for a better stay.
Thomas I. from Olive Branch, MS recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2015 We rented Tucked Inn the weekend of Memorial Day. It was a wonderful stay! The home was beautifully furnished and extremely clean. The hot tub was a perfect retreat and felt like you were located directly in the forest. The location could not have been better! We were able to bypass the traffic in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville completely Only wish out stay could have been longer.
Linda D. from Cocoa, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2015 My husband and I were looking for a short getaway vacation for our 25th wedding anniversary. Elk Springs Resort was the perfect location! Close to shopping and restaurants. Hiking and horseback riding were also close by. The resort was neat and clean. The jacuzzi and hot tub were a great relaxation after a day of hiking. We will definitely return!!
Stacy R. from Marietta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2015 The rental property was exactly as we expected from the website information. It was clean and comfortable and lovely. The check-in and out was easy and nice. We ate at a cool local English Pub, the Fox and the Parrot and had a great dinner. We also ate at a Mexican restaurant in Gatlinburg. We went to the National Park and hiked and ran. We shopped at the local artisan shops and spent an afternoon in Gatlinburg.
A guest from Union, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2015 Cabin was clean and had a newer feel. Location was great just a few minute drive to all the attractions. Rental company was great had an issue with hot tub that was resolved within an hour. Would stay again!
Patrick O. from Cincinnati, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in March, 2015 The location is nice, however we had a nest of vermin in our cottage. They offered to "shot" the vermin instead they took the cottage offline for the majority of our stay. The vermin caused a great deal of concern for my 4 kids. (one even crawled on them in the middle of the night). I asked on several occasions for management to call me but have not heard a word back as of yet.
A guest from Lincolnton, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2015 My rental experience is def one to remember we were the most comfortable we could be our rental was absolutely beautiful and spacious my family and I will keep these memories forever

A guest from Alexander City, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2015 What a fantastic lodge/ cabin! We felt at home enjoying the fireplace and hot tub. It was one of the best get-a-ways and looking forward to going back.
Dave B. from Charleston, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2014 The cabin we originally booked in Andrews, NC for our honeymoon was a complete disaster. We called Elk Springs and they put us in their Tucked Inn cabin. It was awesome from top to bottom. The kitchen was well furnished, the fireplace worked wonderfully and the heart shaped tub was an added treat. We were completely comfortable and happy for the rest of our honeymoon and can't thank Elk Springs enough!
A guest from Spring Lake, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2014 We rented Tucked Inn for our honeymoon in October. The check in/out was very easy. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and cooking our own meals. The cabin was clean and well kept. Our only disappointment was the view from the cabin. The cabin backs up into a hill so there was not much to look at.
Linh C. from Queens Village, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 The cabin was very cozy and equipped with amenities to fit every member of the family. My brother and I had an adrenalin-rushing time playing the fool's ball the first evening. Spending time at the outdoor hot tube catching up to our missed childhood while relaxing underneath the visible constellation was a mesmerizing one. Walking with flesh lights in the night quench the thirst of our adventurous minds. Moreover, the kitchen was fully equipped which made four happy stomach ! We are coming back soon :)
Kartek K. from Columbus, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 It was a great vacation in he resort. Great facilities. Would be great if you can provide coffee as you do not want to drive first thing in the morning for hot coffee.
Steve F. from Mayfield Heights, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 Our family of four had a great time staying in Tucked Inn. Very clean and comfortable. Not too far from town and major activities. Would definitely stay at this cabin again. While it didn't matter to us, the hot tub is only suited for 4 people.
Shelley N. from St. Johns, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2014 We had a great vacation to the smokey mountains and absolutely loved our stay at Tucked Inn!! The cabin was great!!! Our only disappointment was the queen size bed in the downstairs bedroom. Wasn't very comfortable. Would LOVE a king size bed in there!! We very much want to come back.
A guest from West Lafayette, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2014 Cabin was lovely and clean, although very little natural light inside. This didn't bother us, but could be an issue for some. Good location outside of town, but only 10 -15 minutes to downtown.
A guest from Frisco, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 AWESOME!! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! This was our first time to the Smokey Mountains , and what a great experience! The cabin was very well kept, enough room for the four of us. The kids had their own room, which they enjoyed! Especially the bunk beds! The location is great....convenient to everything, but not in the middle of all the downtown hustle, truly relaxing! Thank you! We hope to be back!
A guest from Broadlands, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. The few times we needed something Elk Springs was quick to deliver it to our door. Having the children all sleep on the double bunks made for a perfect vacation. We could hear them all laughing and having a great time together, which is music to a parent's ear! We will be back again.
Rebecca B. from Travelers rest, South carolina recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 Tucked inn at elk springs provided a wonderful weekend getaway for our family. The location, amenities, and service was astounding. If anyone has a chance to stay at elk springs, they definitely should try it out.

Diana C. from Ypsilanti, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2014 The cabin was nice but was off the beaten path. Lots of neighbors and noise-many families/groups staying at cabins in the area making noise. Dollar for dollar this cabin was overpriced. We could have stayed in a hotel for much less. closer to the attractions.
Cherie F. from Euless, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 The property was excellent, clean and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy nature. Many local attractions and things to do.

Amanda C. from Fairfield, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 My family of 5 spend our spring break in the tucked in cabin. We really enjoyed our stay with Elk Springs. The cabin was so clean and so nice. It had everything we would need in the kitchen to cook. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and the evenings in the hot tub. The cabin is not as secluded as we would of liked, but we only had neighbors the last night, so it turned out okay. If you are looking for more privacy on your deck, then Tucked Inn may not be for you. The cabin's location was amazing, only about 15 minutes from Gatlinburg and about 25 from Pigeon Forge. We will be staying at Elk Springs when we visit Gatlinburg again.
A guest from Tuscaloosa, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2014 Tucked Inn was an outstanding place to stay for a family of four. Beautiful accommodations and extremely clean - we will definitely be back.
A guest from Columbus, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2014 Pretty cool house. Like the outdoor bathtub! Close to the national park. 10 mins drive from stores and gas station. 15 mins from gatlingurg.
A guest from Richmond Hill, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in November, 2013 We had a very good stay at Tucked Inn the week of Thanksgiving! The property was located within an appropriate distance from the Food City and downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was nicely furnished and had what we needed to stay for a week. The furniture was very nice and the fireplace very useful that week as we went through a snow storm. It is the perfect cabin for four people and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
A guest from Glen Burnie, MD does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2013 Beautiful Cabin but just no sunlight, it feels like your in a cave. Without having all the lights on its just gloomy
A guest from Vienna, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2013 Vacation could not have been better. Beautiful location, absolutely professional and clean. Only caveat: the tin roof is very noisy in the rain. We were lucky--it only rained our last night there.
Holly A. from Leamington, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2013 I would recommend Tucked Inn Resort to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the Smokey Mountains. It had all the comforts of home and was close to all of the attractions. The check in and check out procedures were very easy and everything was spotless upon our arrival. A light bulb was burned out on the deck and when we called, they were there with a replacement within 5 minutes. We will definitely stay here again!
Nancy T. from Grant Township, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 We stayed in the cabin called Tucked Inn. We were very happy with the interior of the cabin. It was clean and had many great features. It had modern appliances all working. Two bathrooms which was a good thing with four people staying and the second bath was upstairs. The cabin is decorated in the wilderness theme. The bunk beds upstairs are queen sized and the bedroom was nicely decorated. We would stay with Elk springs resort again when coming to the Gatlinburg TN area.
Cristina F. from Ottowa, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2013 The place is very beautiful ! Although you have to be ready to get lost several times , is far away from stores and no phone signal , Internet it was nice to have at the cabin !! Overal a good place ! :)Improvement
Beth C. from Crownsville, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2012 We had a very nice time and I found the staff very responsive regarding the few minor issues we needed assistance with. My one suggestion, would be for a stay over 3 nights, a refresh on toilet paper, trash bags, towels, and laundry detergent. Other facilities I have stayed at provided a refresher on those items after a few days. It would be really nice to see some recycling options available for the grounds. It killed me to toss plastic bottles and aluminum cans into the garbage and didn't set a good example for our children as we stress recycling in our home. As you informed me, the walkway going into Tucked Inn is very steep and it posed a few issues on check-out day as we were trying to pack. Sleet and snow caused some slick conditions. Knowing that, it might be good if the staff could be pro-active and provide a few cups of snow melt for the walkway for anyone staying there during the winter if snow/sleet/rain/freezing temperatures are predicted. We emailed, while we were packing up but left prior to hearing the reply back. Overall though, very nice and enjoyable experience.

A guest from Louisville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 My wife and I loved the cabin, but we have two minor issues. First, the pictures of the cabin made us think that it was more private, however, our cabin wasn't at all. In fact, our hottub was easily seen from the main street. The second issue is that the cabin wasn't properly checked for maintenance issues before we check in. The hottub wasn't working and one of the lights was broken. Other than that, we loved the cabin and our stay there.
Robert M. from Clinton, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in October, 2012 I loved the location. Its only a few miles from pigeon forge and about 1 1/2 from gatlinburg. Itit was very clean and we loved the hot tube in our room. Very spacious and good lighting. The hot tube outside was not the same picture as the website. The website pics can sometimes be deceiving. Overall it was a gorgeous honey place. We would definitely stay here again.
A guest from Ponchatoula, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in October, 2012 We stayed here for our honeymoon in October. The cabin was amazing. We were surprised to find it fulled stocked with everything we needed for the stay. We will be back to Elk Springs!

Its only about a 10 min drive from Gatlinburg.

A guest from Charlotte, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 I LOVED the queen over queen bunkbeds for the kids! The cabin was clean, which was most important for me. We would definitely come back to this cabin!
Rick C. from Alverato, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2012 We really enjoyed our stay at Elk Springs? Tucked Inn cabin. The pictures portrait it very well. The cabin wasn?t as secluded as we envisioned (cabins on both sides, across the street and one behind) but we were not bothered by anyone, nor did we feel on display or in a fish bowl. The cabin and the surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful! We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again. ~ Rick from Alvarado, TX
Lisa G. from Empire, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 Great family getaway cabin. The pooltable and hot tub helped the young and old stay busy and happy. setting around the table at night playing cards created lasting memories.

Chad C. from Sanford, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 Elk Springs Resorts was AWESOME. Maintenance was helpful and we had very little interaction with the staff, which complemented the intimacy of our surroundings. The location was great (everything we needed was only minutes away) and the overall rental was maintained very nicely. We will definitely be coming back. Nice work guys!

A guest from La Vergne, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2011 This was my second visit for the year and October is a great year to visit. I would have loved to get in the hot tub but we didn't because I would have preferred to have a door closer to the hot tub. But guess what? the heart shaped tub in the bedroom with the jacuzzi jets was the same thing. Elk Springs is a professional company and you can go shopping in town and just wait for them to call you with your code for your door. And best of all, they were done with the cabin I was in before the 3pm check in time. Now that's service.
A guest from Rome, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2011 We had a wonderful time staying in Tucked Inn. It was perfect for our family of 4, and the hot tub was a big hit. I agree with previous renters that a nonstick skillet would help with pancake making. Also we did not see the X-Box that was listed, but that was OK because we were busy enjoying the other fun things to do in town! Would recommend this again, and will likely stay here in the future!
John B. from Geneva, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2011 My wife and I visited Elk Springs Resort to celebrate our 15th anniversary. This was our second stay with Elk Springs, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Whether you are looking for complete relaxation or the challenges that await in The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Elk Springs is the place to stay! From the moment you enter your cabin and breathe in the woody aroma and marvel at the beauty of the true wood construction, it feels like home sweet home! Everything was clean and in working order, and the hot tub was spotless. Thank you Elk Springs!
Todd B. from Lakeland, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2011 The cabin was great. We arrived late in the evening and the express check-in made it real easy to get into the cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained. It was exactly as advertised and looked just like the pictures. The only problem we had was with the Internet access. While the wireless connection was fine and stayed connected, the Internet itself would often stop working for several minutes at a time. Often (3-4 times a day) we would have restart the cable modem to get it working again. Overall we loved the cabin and we are already planning on going back next year. Just have to decide on which cabin to get next time.

Karen W. from Valparaiso, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2011 This was the first time that we've rented a cabin for a family vacation and it was great! The cabin is as beautiful as the pictures make it appear. It was wonderful to be able to be together but not on top of each other in a hotel room. Our two teenage daughters had the upstairs all to themselves; which they really liked. Some thoughts that I had while there: The directions to get to the cabin; they were awesome! After being in the area we understood why they directed us around that way. That being said, it would be nice to have a small note in there letting you know that yes it is 25-30 miles out of the way but takes a good 45 minutes to get there. In the cabin: Two small things added would be nice to see. A teflon pan, making pancakes is somewhat hard in a saucepan. A small vacuum sweeper for the carpets would be nice; just something to be able to get the crumbs under the kitchen table etc. there wasn't anything there to use for that purpose. Overall, this was the NICEST place we have ever stayed at and we plan on coming back in the future.
This was our first visit to the area and we were very pleased with the cabin. It was comfortably furnished and very clean. The
Greg R. from Findlay, Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in April, 2011 It was a short distance to the National Park and the April weather made it great for hiking. I would definately recommend proper footwear if you are going to go up to any of the falls. I wore Sketchers shape ups - that was a big mistake. Also, check the website for information about the difficulty of each trail so you know what to expect. We had a great time and look forward to going again sometime in the future.
john S. from Centreville, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2011 My wife and I stayed in Tucked Inn with Elk Springs Resort for our honeymoon, and it was PERFECT! The only problem we had, was it was not as "private" as we thought. Very close to other cabins, but we still enjoyed our stay! We will definetly be back. Thank you Elk Springs for making our honeymoon an UNFORGETTABLE experience :)
James P. from Metairie, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2011 Beautiful cabin...well maintained, clean. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Nicely decorated ..loved the cathedral ceilings and loft with pool table
Carrie W. from Louisville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2010 The Linens could have been a little cleaner, as well as the dishes. But all in all we found the cabine comfortable and very nice.
A guest from Columbia, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2010 We will be coming back in the near future. We are very glad that we found your cabin to stay at. It met all of our needs. It was very clean and a relaxing retreat for us.
A guest from Louisville, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2010 The location is great as it is away from the hustle bustle of the city. The property was in great condition very clean and everything worked. Definitely plan on coming back in the future.
Jan J. from London, recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2010 We stayed in Tucked Inn,and it was perfect! Everything was beautiful there, and it is a wonderful peaceful and romantic home from home. We hated leaving, and wished we had been able to stay longer. We traveled from London to Memphis - and then drove from Memphis to Gatlinburg, and it was worth the journey, which is a scenic one too.. the only thing I would change is putting more outdoor furniture on the deck for eating outside. I hope we go back again, very soon :)
A guest from Indianapolis, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2010 We also rented Southern Philosophy. Please fix the television in the hall upstairs and in the room upstairs that doesn't have a restroom. The only thing that wasn't very clean were the bathtubs. They could have stood to have been scrubbed really well as dirt was easily trapped in the bottom of the tub from apparently frequent use.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Hi Shayla, thank you for the kind feedback. We've gone ahead and done a deep clean on the unit you requested. Apparently there was a problem with the TV that developed during your stay and we've gone ahead and fixed it. These do happen sometimes, but please call us during your stay next time and we can remedy it very quickly as we have 24 hour maintenance on site.
A guest from Sarasota, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2010 Our two night stay was such a great experience, we extended our stay for one more night in this wonderful chalet. We were surrounded by private woods and close to dozens of art galleries, craft shops and an english pub! The cabin was impeccably clean, well furnished and comfortable. Our only suggestion would be a real teflon frying pan in the kitchen (the two pans provided were large sauce pans and difficult to make pancakes in) :-) Otherwise, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need and there is a grocery store nearby which is open until midnight. We had a plumbing issue and I sent email to the management office about it thinking they could send someone over to fix it while we were out later that afternoon. Before I could shutdown my computer, there was a knock at the door with someone from maintenance to fix our plumbing issue - amazing service!!Our children loved their own private loft with pool table and queen sized bunk beds with wall mounted TV! Very nice touch. The kitchen in this "cabin" was the nicest I have every cooked in and the outdoor grill and hot tub were a great addition. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks!
Sharon V. from Fenton, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2010 It was every thing I thought it would be,spotless,if you wanted to cook everything was there.Had a wonderful stay, had 3 teenage girls, they loved the hot tub, pool table and the jacuzzi,WILL GO BACK!!!!!
Nice cabin in a newly developed resort community. Clean, well maintained. Close to the grocery store. Very close to the arts
Robert B. from Ypsilanti, MI recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2010 Two adults and 4yr old child for 6 night stay. The natural gas grill on the deck was clean and in working order. The knobs do not line up correctly. You must fine tune them to get the gas off. Don't trust the marks on them. We did not use the hot tub, so on comment on it. The cabin was clean. No insects inside. Ants were seen around the perimeter of the cabin on the deck. The stair case does not have a hand rail, the side of the staircase is solid with a 5 inch wide cap, that is the hand hold. Not easy for me to use and impossible for my son to use. The up stairs bathroom floor is tile and the bed room floor is pine. The builder did not level the tile floor with the hardwood. There is a 1/2 inch rise going into the bathroom. Very easy to stub your toe. There are no clothes hangers, lots of closet space. We forgot to bring clothes hangers, don't forget to take some. The GE fridge has water/ice in door with filter. Water tasted very good. Good water pressure in showers. Water heater is turned up a little too high for children. Not bad for adults but if you have Children be careful. The community is still in the process of landscaping (at least I hope they are not done). There are a lot of hillsides that have no vegetation on them. The erosion is very evident. Parking was level and adequate. WiFi worked fine, no issues. A very nice place to come back to after a day hike. The washer and dryer was very nice to have. I would stay at this community again and would stay at this cabin in particular.
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Thank you for the feedback. We are still completing our landscaping and there are some settling items in the cabin you stayed in that we will address in the early fall. Your comments are appreciated and helpfull, thank you!
A guest from Burlison, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2010 We LOVED our stay at this cabin. Our only concern was that there were a few spiders and cenitpedes here and there. A quick visit from a pest control guy = perfection! Thanks!
Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Sorry about the bugs! They have been really bad this year with all the rain, but glad we were able to remedy the problem for you.
William G. from Vistavia Hlls, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2009 Everything was as perfect as could be. We called because the game system as advertised was not there and they explained that it had been taken how by the owner. We were not planning on using itbut wanted to make sure that it had not gone missing. We also has a small leak in the faucet in the whirlpool which they did not have the parts to immediately fix but they stopped by and asked if it was bothing our stay. WE said no and the maintenance man said he would get it fixed after our stay.Overall, we had an excellent experience.

A guest from Mt Washington, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in October, 2009 We had a wonderful time! Everything was perfect! We absolutely loved our stay at Tucked Inn and we have already recommended it to several of our friends!
Dragana Z. from Clearwater, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2009 It was wonderful vacation. We really enjoyed in colorful fall. The cabin where we stayed is high quality. Look the same as on the pictures and much better.Thank you and we?ll see you again.
Noah B. from Collierville, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2009 When we arrived the management had our reservation info taped to the door at the office. The business next door said they rarely see these people. The problem I have with this is someone could get our door code and rob us at night! This is a very unsafe practice. Not only that, but someone could easily take all the furniture or whatever from the place and run off. There was a couple getting there entry codes at the same time and were equally shocked. Property management should give us the codes through email or over the phone instead of leaving them in envelopes taped to the door for everyone to get. Also, there isn't a mountain view. I think it says there is, but there isn't. It is a view of the woods, and that is all. These units are clustered together so I can't say you get a lot of privacy either. I woulnd't get in the hot tub outside because everyone can see you. We were on our honeymoon and I opted to just use the one inside in our room. Overall the place is nice, and everything looks new. Just don't expect a great view with privacy. It is still a nice unit though.
A guest from Memphis`, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2009 Tucked In is a cute little cabin with full amenities. My family loved the hot tub, pool table, gas fireplace and nice HD television with DVD player. I was happy to find the resort is almost inside a craftsman community. The unique shops are just down the street with artisans of all kinds. There are a few restaurants that we didn't have time to try. The only drawback on this cabin is the tiny shower in the master bath. I am 5'1" about 100lbs and found it difficult to even turn around. It was smaller than a linen closet! However, the upstairs shower is much larger if you can share. It was rainy and we were all a little scared to go down the ramp to the front door. It wasn't slippery, but it seemed like it would be. Some kind of non-slip surface should be tacked down so people wouldn't feel anxiety walking there. It was a very cute cabin.
Brandon B. from Fort Wayne, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2009 Overall the cabin was in very good condition. The cleaning service was questionable. It felt more like a hotel at first than a cabin in the smokies. We normally like to have more of a private feel when we stay in Gatlinburg. There are cabins right next door on all sides of you except the back, but you can look and see the cabins next to you on both sides even from the deck. Not much of a personal touch or feel on the inside of the cabin. Everything was nice and in great condition, but the counters, sinks, and carpeted area wasn't cleaned very well, but bad enough to affect our stay. Just had higher expectations based on the price and the website. Would recommend, but seemed more like a campground than a cabin because of being able to hear other people outside from the other cabins in close proximity.
A guest from Lexington, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2009 We enjoyed the stay at the cabin. The location was far enough from the crowds of Gatlinburg to be relaxing, but still close enough to be convenient. Everything was clean and the one issue we had with the hottub was addressed promptly.
A guest from Borden, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2009 The cabin was set in a beautiful location, however during a rainshower problems of erosion were evident. I hope the resort is planning to replant native vegetation on the new construction sites to help prevent this from happening. I would also change the way that trash is disposed of as I saw a few bags that were torn open by "critters". The overall experience is something that we look forward to doing again. I would like to thank everyone involved for a great, worry-free time.
Property Manager Response:
Thank you for the comments. Yes, we have a seeding and planting schedule that we are adhering too. the dry conditions the previoius 2 years has made it challenging, but we are making great progress. There have been some bear activity in the area that also was influenced by the dry conditions and we have installed bear proof containers to control this. Most of the bears have left for other areas and given the trash containers they will all leave soon.
We appreciate you choosing elk springs resort for your stay and as a repeat visitor you do get 10% off a future stay.
We had a wonderful time and will be returning very soon. The only complaint would be that it was a little hard to try and get a

Property Manager Response:
Hi Erik, we do an express check in exclusively now! I think you may have gotten caught in the transition over to this new process. All guests go directly to their cabins bypassing a check in office. Super convenient and saves a lot of time. Don't forget you get a 10% discount on a future stay as a repeat guest!
A guest from Richmond, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2009 Our family of four stayed at the Tucked Inn for a week in August. Everything about the place was wonderful. The view was great-if felt so secluded but we were still very close to all the attractions. Our kids (age 8 and 12) also loved it! They loved the double sized bunk beds with a TV/DVD in their room. The pool table was also a big hit as well as the hot tub! Many people who have seen our pictures of the place have asked where it was and want info about it, saying that it looked awesome! I've told them all that is was a great place and our trip was one of the best vacations ever!
Property Manager Response:
Thank you for the kind review, Leanne. Remember, you get 10% off a future stay as a repeat visitor!
We had a fantastic time, Tucked Inn was super clean-easy access.
Sally B. from Plant City, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2009 I had broken my foot a couple weeks prior to our vacation. I had a wheeled walker and got around on the first floor without any problem. The master bed and bath were on the first floor and the entrance was a ramp. Hope to come back sometime to see the fall leaves. The grandkids liked seeing the bear - Paul which came to visit our son's cabin at night - Firefly Lodge.
A guest from Waldwick, New Jersey recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2009 Our family thouroughly enjoyed our first trip to Tennessee. Our stay @ the Tucked Inn was a terrific choice. The cabin was clean, and beautiful. The kids loved the bunk beds and my wife and I enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We would definately return for another trip. The resort is located in a great spot, in the mountains, but close enough to everything, including Dollywood, in which you can take the back roads to get there and avoid the main roads. I would suggest a GPS to all if you don't know your way around. Just a heads up to xbox fans, someone has to call the office and request the console and sign out for it, the resort sends someone out to the cabin with it.
Holly S. from Lexington, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2009 There was no community bathroom had to go into a room where someone was sleeping if you were on the pull out couch.
David H. from Columbus, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2009 My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Tucked Inn and completely enjoyed it! The cabin was great but it would be even better if it had a view of something other than the other awesome cabins in the area! It wasn't that big of a deal though, since we spent most of the daylight hours exploring the surrounding area! The fireworks in Gatlinburg on July 4 were the best we've ever seen! A+!!! We'll be back - bringing our friends and family!
A guest from Duncan, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2009 Tucked Inn was one of the nicest/ highest quality cabins we have stayed as a family. The double queen bunks were perfect for family travel in a 2 bedroom cabin. TN has so much to do. Looking forward to Elk Springs further growth that might include more to do right on site after a day of rafting or hiking. This resort is definitely on our list of places we will return!
Parminder S. from Palm Coast, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2009 we stayed for the weekend at Tucked Inn cottage, very clean and comfortable stay. Location was beautiful. Only thing that I did not like was the cover for outside jacuzzie, which was torn and had ugly stuff dripping into the tub.
Property Manager Response:
Hello and thank you for the response. We did remedy this, the hot tub covers do become worn over time and this one was due to be replaced and has been. Glad you enjoyed your stay!
A guest from Lancaster, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2009 My only complaint was it was difficult to contact a human. I called and left a voice message for express checkin which included my cell phone number, but when we got home there was a message on our home machine with the entry code. Not much good since we were there! Also, could not find the local office.
A guest from Jane Lew, WV recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2009 My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Elk Springs Resort, Tucked Inn. It was far enough from town to be quiet yet close enough to be convienient. Thanks.
Matthew S. from Columbus, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2009 All I reallt have to say is the cabin was very clean and nice, good location to Pigeion Forge or Gatlinburg. Will difently come back and stay again!

Vickie F. from Dayton, Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2009 These cabins and the location of them was absolutely amazing. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others. I did have one small complaint. In the Tucked Inn cabin, the walkway from the car to the cabin was very a very steep ramp. In fact it snowed on the last few days we were there and it was impossible to get up and down it due to the incline. Several of us fell and loading the luggage was horrible. Other then that it was a great place, clean. The furniture was all beautiful and nice. The hot tub was wonderful. Thanks for a wonderful trip.
A guest from Madison, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2009 The initial reservation process was challenging, because we knew the owners. The way it was booked was wrong and even after a phonecall or 2 they didn't get it right, until we spoke with the owners. It was fairly confusing and I still don't know what happened. Besides that I would definitely stay there again. The place was very nice in a very nice community. The cabin was nicely decorated and well supplied with utilities. Just remember to take your own salt - there wasn't any, or anything else in the way or condiments or such.Lovely hot tub. Nice views. We plan to go back some time.
Tameria Y. from Calera, Alabama recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2009 This was our first stay at Elk Springs Resort. Everyone was extremely helpful from making reservations to arriving at our location. The cabin was simply marvelous-modern updates but still had a warm cozy cabin feel. We will definitely return again.
ADAM P. from ST CHARLES, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2009 Our cabin was great! My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary , the cabin was very romantic. We both loved itI wasnt very happy about all the different charges added to the cabin rental I think it should be a refundable charge that if you dont damage anything or if cleaning is minimal you should get that money back. We left the cabin the way we found it excluding the bed sheets. We cleaned everything before we left. Other than that it was great! Very Nice Very Clean...... Would recommend this cabin for couples....

Nisar H. from Riverview, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in January, 2009 We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The on-time call from resort office helped us find our way easily to the resort before checking in. The only thing we noticed was that cabin had some smell probably due to having no ventilation. It got better after a little while when we opened up the doors for air. But it may not be an option if the weather is really cold. If resort management can ask the cleaninig crew to have the place door open for ventilation before the evening guests are expected, that will be helpful. Apart from it, we were very happy with our stay in Tucked Inn.
Bill B. from Rockwall, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2008 We arrived late in the evening after traveling all day, and when we drove up, the lights were on, everything was perfect. We could not have imagined a more comfortable and beautiful place to get away and relax, and still be close to the beautiful town of Gatlinburg. Our cabin was so beautifully decorated and every turn, the last detail had been thought of.
Jason B. from Guyton, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in November, 2008 The staff was very helpful and the cabins are located for optimal convenience. They're secluded enough to remove you from all the commercialization of Gatlinburg, but close enough that you wouldn't think twice about hopping in the car and going out for a meal. They were super close to the art and craft district, which was by far - our favorite part of Gatlinburg. Great property with great amenities. Everything was new and in perfect working condition. The fireplace, hot tub, and grill were especially nice. The pool table was a great touch too. All were super nice if you just want to entertain at the cabin. Good job, guys. Keep up the good work!
Beth M. from Murfreesboro, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in October, 2008 Grill was dirty - we had to wash it before we used it. Otherwise, everything was very clean and in working order.
