We offer uncompromising personal service in a casual elegant setting. The villa is an early 19th century home once owned by a Spanish Count and Countess. We are the only vacation rental villas in Merida that offers full concierge and spa services. If you are a person that enjoys exceptional service in a casual elegant setting,

So often when vacationing, the place you stay will make or break your vacation. Our staff is here to ensure that your stay in the Yucatan Peninsula is a wonderful, memorable and thoroughly enjoyable adventure.

Casa del Sol’s cook will also be happy to supply you with two meals a day. The cost of the food is not included in the nightly rate. The cook will do the shopping for you and you reimburse her for the expenses.

Casa del Sol was restored and renovated in 2004. Located on the quietest street in downtown Merida, the home is two blocks from Parque Santiago and seven blocks from the Zocalo (town square). The entryway and living room have 18-foot beamed ceilings. The home has four air-conditioned custom decorated guest rooms with their own private baths, located in a cabana in the garden. All the guest rooms overlook the pool and tropical garden.

The home is filled with Spanish antiques and works of art by Mexican artisans and artists, reflecting the proud culture and heritage of Mexico. The home has a formal dining room and a covered veranda for meals. Activities in the late afternoons in Merida revolve around enjoying the sunset while lounging in the garden pool.
