Funny smell

The main area had a funny (Rotten food ??) smell that was masked by an air freshner smell the first night but was very noticable the next day when we returned to the condo after we were out for a few hours. We could not locate the source of the smell but it seemed stronger around the couch area.

After I made the reservation on-line for the unit I stayed in, I did not hear back from the community about check-in procedures. I drove 13 hours and arrived at the facility and it did not have a check-in office. One of the guests told me to go down the road to the office, so I did, only to find out the office was was almost dark, and I had no idea how I was going to get in my room. There was an after hours phone number that I called, and received a voice message. I left a frantic message on my situation, and just sat in my car and prayed someone would call me back. Finally, my phone rang, and a young lady assisted me with my dilemma. The unit I stayed in was average, some of the blinds were missing, it needs severe updates, new carpet, furniture, etc. One of the bathrooms had used toothpaste on the shower wall, and used bath soap in the shower holder. I will not be returning to this facility nor recommend it to anyone else.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Everyone we dealt with was very nice, our condos were very, very clean and we had everything we needed to make our family vacation comfortable and enjoyable!

It appeared as though no one had cleaned beneath the couch for at least six months. There was dust balls and filth beneath the couch. There were pieces of vertical blinds thrown in the master bedroom closet. My wife hung several of them where they were supposed to be located. There were some blinds which appeared to have been broken off.

I enjoyed the condo, we were disappointed with the small pool and it being in the front of condo. Also did not like the fact there was no rear entrance to beach. But these things were only trivial, would not keep me from staying there again .I realize there was not enough room in rear for pool. I am just use to staying where there are large pools with Tikki bars. Would like to had place on beach to buy food and drinks.

Well all I have to say is the room I stayed in was EXCELLENT!!! very NICE!!! The view was priceless. I just didn't feel safe after my car was damaged there. I contacted the owner about the situation and he had the nerve to assume that I couldn't afford anything for car. The attitude from the guy was, **** poor! I didn't get a oh I am sorry for the situation or anything. I will make the necessary notification to my company that I nor anybody else should not stay there. He didn't try to accommadate the situation all I got was attitude. There needs to be cameras installed in the front and back of the building. There isn't enough light from the beach to the building. Not enough light walking to your room. Sorry to say that I can only give a good rating to the room I stayed in, how NICE it was. The front desk people were nice. But the owner has no customer service skills what so ever! I just can't stay in a place where I can't feel safe at.
