My wife and I had a wonderful vacation and the condo met all our expectations. The maintenance and cleaning staff do a remarkable job, We definitely will schedul our vacation at Gulf Dunes again next year.

Our condo was very clean and comfortable that had amazing views of the ocean. One reason we like Gulf Dunes so much is that it is walking distance to many restaurants and fun nightlife!

The two baths and the washer/dryer combo were a blessing with 5 people in one place. My daughter especially liked the BIG master bath. We would like to stay in the same condo next year.

I enjoyed this condo so very much. It was clean and had a great view with plenty of patio furniture. Despite the Tropical Storm when we visited, we had a wonderful time in the condo and dining around town. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked and clean, and the manager was incredibly helpful when we arrived late. Overall, I believe we will stay here again and again. Okaloosa Island is located perfectly between Ft.Walton and Destin. Only 1 mile from THE SWAMP and 3 miles from the Bay of Destin. PERFECT VACATION!

the condo was great; very large. the location was ideal; however the condo as far as the furniture needs updating; mattresses were ripped; balcony floor was very dirty as well as the furniture on the balcony. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom.

The vertical blinds you see in the photo on the website have so many slats missing they are useless. This is in the den and master. My wife slept in the bunks because the lack of shades woke her up. Great unit but get the owner to put up drapes or something.

Overall the condo was not as clean as others at which we have stayed in the past. The kitchen was in HORRIBLE shape, with dirt visible everywhere, and cookware in deplorable condition. Further, just walking across the floors or carpets turned clean feet black in no time. As we discovered the condition after-hours, we had to clean the mess ourselves, and assumed the prop. mgt. should have refunded at least part of our rental, but no deal there. WE DIDN'T COME TO CLEAN! Not an experience we plan to repeat anytime soon. Lost total respect for Brooks & Shorey.

Excellent location, management very responsive to issues. More attention to detail should be used when cleaning the place, ie. ceiling fans, kitchen rugs and behind furniture.

We were there during the fish kill last year. I know that happens occasionally, but the county never sent out the sand sweeper. The manager was ineffective in getting the beach cleaned. I wrote the Escambia council people and got words but no action. Had fish been cleaned up from the beach @ 1st low tide it would have been okay. BUT they were never cleaned up and left the beach to stink and my kids afraid of the water. We're not coming back this summer.

My brother and his family along with mine have gone to Fort Walton Beach for seven years together. Last year I brought my wifes family and everyone had a fabulous time. The beaches are wonderful, the accomodations comfortable, and everything you could want to do is within a five minute ride. We are going back again this year, and years to come.

We enjoyed our vacation very much. The room was nice and the property clean. The staff was helpful and courteous. The view from the room was magnificant. Watching the dolphins in the mornings was very relaxing. We h ad family with us and they were very please too. The laundry room was a big plus. We will be traveling again this year soon and will probably rent through Brooks and Shorey again. Thank you!
