Access: railway station in the resort. Bus service. For arrivals by plane: airport Warszawa (WAW) 225 km, Gda?sk (GDN) 255 km. Town called "Pearl of Mazur" by poets. Mikolajki is situated on the track of the Large Mazurskie Lakes, between Mikolajki Lake and Talty Lake. It is well known touristic and sports resort. Widely known junction of water tracks. Marked water routs lead on to the south from Okratowo (through Sniardwy and Jagielinski Channel, 28 km) and to Ruciane (through Beldany, 24 km).
