Years of experience have honed Joyce's sixth sense for finding places that are unique and memorable. Her Renting Paradise series of e-guidebooks features firsthand reviews of an eclectic collection of vacation rentals in Northern California. Joyce also reviews charming hotels and inns for the U.K.-based website i-escape.com. Joyce's travel articles have appeared in airline magazines, major metropolitan newspapers and travel industry publications. She's the author of four career-related books.

Eleven years living in the heart of San Francisco and the Bay Area fueled her passion for travel with a true love of the many treasures of Northern California. She continues to discover them from her current home near Sacramento— along with her husband, Gary, and two well-traveled dogs, Cory and Jewel.
