Located at the end of Sugarhouse Lane and adjacent a farmer’s hay field, this vacation property is very quiet with no drive-by traffic. An oasis away from the modern world, yet close to great shopping, restaurants, golfing, and spas!

The Rideau Canal is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and was rated #2 as an exceptional historic site destination by National Geographic.
The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, parties, and lots more!
This cottage is conveniently located not far off of highway #15 at the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 30 minutes from the Canada/USA border, and only one hour and 15 minutes from Ottawa. A great place for extended Families to congregate.

Located 3 minutes from Rideau Lakes Golf Club, 5 minutes from the Historic town of Westport, 5 minutes to Newboro and Kilborn's store (popular shopping place), beaches and hiking trails are within minutes, Evergreen Golf Course on Wolf Lake is only 10 minutes away and the historic city of Kingston is only a 45 minute drive.
Cottage is equipped with 3 bedrooms: Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, bedrooms #2 and #3 both have two single beds in each, and there is a pull-out couch in the living room. Linen service is included for bedding. Renters must bring their own towels, or they can be rented for $12/person (this includes three face-cloths, three hand towels, three bath towels, and one bath mat).
