The Opinicon Lake has been revered for decades for its great bass and pike fishing and beautiful scenery. This cabin provides an idyllic stop over for boaters traveling through the Rideau Canal, a family vacation on an annual fishing trip or a couple looking for a romantic outdoor getaway. Sit and watch the stars as you roast marshmallows in the fire pit by the lake, or visit the historic towns in the area. Chaffey's Lock and Davis Lock can be accessed by boat from Opinicon Lake.
The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, parties, and lots more!
This cottage is conveniently located not far off of highway #15 at the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 40 minutes from the Canada/USA border, and only one hour and 25 minutes from Ottawa. A great place for extended Families to congregate.

Bedroom Configurations: Main level has one bedroom with a ¾ size bed and the upstairs has a sleeping loft with 5 single beds.
Linen service is included for bedding. Renters must bring their own towels, or they can be rented for $12/person (this includes three face-cloths, three hand towels, three bath towels, and one bath mat).
