This quiet place is 5 minutes from Chiusi downtown and also 10 minutes from Highway A 1 (Rome - Florence, both 1 hour far) and train station.
Chiusi is a town full of history and culture as well as an important archeological centre at an international level. It has Umbro-etruscan origins. It experienced a period of great expansion between the VII and V centuries BC; afterwards, it was under the Roman influence.
Chiusi is placed halfway between Rome and Florence, both of which can easily be reached by car (through the Chiusi-Chianciano Junction on the A1 Rome-Florence highway 9 km from the house) and train (Chiusi Scalo station 7 km from the house, on the Rome-Florence line) in about one hour.
From Chiusi Scalo station it is also possible to reach Siena, Perugia and Arezzo with comfortable cross-country trains (30 minutes) or by car. Chiusi is in a very convenient part of South Tuscany, from where you can easily reach many small towns in Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria.
