The Chatelain area is a place where life is enjoyable. It is a district full of life, cosmopolitan, European, young and trendy, very appreciated by the inhabitants of Brussels. There are a lot of restaurants and bars with crowded terraces in spring and summer.There are many stores, boutique of clothes and accessories, bookshops, decoration stores and some very beautiful florists to discover. We can totally live there in autarky. The square Chatelain welcomes every Wednesday the very popular market “marché du Chatelain” from 1 pm till 7 pm. The inhabitants of Brussels get together at 5 of 6 pm. to have a drink before dinner to take advantage of the very friendly and festive atmosphere!
The Bailli street is a very nice shopping street where you can find what ever you want with a lot a nice boutiques.
The avenue Louise welcomes all the luxury boutiques.
The houses Art nouveau, realized among others by Victor Horta and Paul Hankar, can be admired in the whole area.
