Apalachicola is an old Coastal town only a short drive away and has great shopping, restaurants and museum about the invention of the ice machine. It is a refreshing change from your typical tourist town with it's charming storefronts and the oysters here are to die for! There's also a great waterpark in Panama City that makes for some great family fun.
