Hosting up to 12 guests, this intimate haven is ideal for private getaways and family reunions. The villa's interior decor features antiques and fireplaces, while the exterior architecture reflects the best of Tuscan design.
La Sassia has approx. 2800 sq.ft. of living space and is built in the typical Tuscan style, using local stones. The main part of the villa has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people (these 2 bedrooms are side by side). The wing of the villa has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people (these 2 bedrooms connect internally). This wing is accessed externally by a covered walkway. The guest house has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people (these 2 bedrooms connect internally). Smaller groups can rent the villa without the guesthouse.
Very stylish and sophisticated atmosphere. Guests are pampered with fine Tuscan cuisine prepared by the owner-culinary expert, while cooking classes and demonstrations are available for guests to learn to create their own culinary masterpieces.
Fantastic views of the Tuscan vineyards and hills. Conveniently located near Siena, Florence and most famous Tuscan villages.
DISTANCES: A healthy walk into Sovicille's village center, San Gimignano - 45mins, Florence - 1hour and Rome 2.5 hours.
A welcome buffet dinner is available for €40 per person, including wine or a Tuscan Gourmet dinner (minium 6 people) is available for €70 per person, including wine. Cooking classes are available for an additional charge. Heating NOT included (approx. €60 per day for the main villa €90 for the whole property). Telephone charges extra. Housekeeping, laundry and ironing is €15 per hour. For the main house, the housekeeping service is E15 with a 3 hour minimum per day. For the entire property, 2 cleaning ladies are required. Please note that there is no cleaning service on Sundays. An additional cradle is €50 per week. All additional charges must be paid locally in Euros prior to departure.
The main villa sleeps 4 people, the additional wing behind main house sleeps 4, and the guest house by pool sleeps 4. When renting the villa at the 4 bedroom rate you will rent the Main House only which sleeps 4 in the main structure and 4 in the wing. *If the main villa is rented without the use of the guest house, there is a possibility the owner may occupy the guest house on the property. Privacy is assured, but it should be pointed out there may be others in the guest house, located about 20 feet from the main villa.
The security deposit is €1,500.00 due in cash upon arrival.
Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.
