Boulangerie de Providence is located in a hamlet just 3km from the pretty French village of Tocane St Apre. It has the most fantastic outlook onto sunflower fields and has a beautiful swimming pool with terraced area for those hot sunny days. Whilst you can enjoy the tranquillity of the peaceful location you are still within driving distance of some of the Dordogne's most appealing places to visit. If you are looking for somewhere special to stay then you've just found it!
The gite is in beautiful rural surroundings. Why not walk into the village for the local Monday morning market. Pick up a 'pain tocannais' at one of the three bakeries. Stop by, either of the two bar restaurants we have in the village serving a tasty selection from the 'menu du jour' Then take a stroll along the river to walk off your lunch. Fancy a canoe trip, you can do that here. Perhaps a visit to the 'Tocane Costume Museum' in the village before collecting some full bodied wine from the village 'Cave' for your evening meal back at Boulangerie de Providence. Oh and not forgetting the two supermarkets, two butchers, three hairdressers, antique shops, doctors, chemist, police station and the vet, in case you need something for your furry friend - it's all here for you at Tocane Saint Apre only 3km away. If you fancy a trip off in the car, Perigueux, capital of the Dordogne is 20km, with it's Roman remains and beautiful Cathedral or Brantome 'Venice of the Perigord' it's all here.

A refundable deposit of £150 or 200 euros will be required for breakages upon arrival. There is WIFI access and Satelite TV with freeview channels (feel free to bring your own viewing card with you for extra channels) The bed is king size (which can be made as a double or twin)
