The Village is famous for the huge rock dominating it and its Norman Cathedral, architectural masterpiece built under Roger II's kingdom (XII century). Cefalù is a strategic base-site to visit the whole Sicily: it is 220 km from Taormina, 160 km from Agrigento and 220 km from Syracuse.
