Very large and comfortably furnished salon with wood burning insert Digital TV [BBC & ITV], video, and two double-glazed French windows opening onto the terrace and pool. Fully fitted and equipped modern kitchen with split level oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Large oak table seating 12 and French windows leading to terrace and pool. Laundry room with washing machine and large freezer and fridgeDownstairs toilet and basin. Bed Linen and towels supplied. Telephone connection for Internet access is available with a small deposit. Outside: The large 40' x 16' swimming pool is chlorine free open from 1st May and is fully maintained. Grounds extending to over an acre surround the property. We enormously enjoyed the Dordogne, the ambience, the food, the history and the house was an excellent base to enjoy all of these. We were within easy reach of Sarlat, Souillac and Gourdon all of which had good restaurants and all the necessary shops-but still had the openness and freedom of a truly rural setting.
