Brian and Christine Law welcome you to 'Chez Law' a beautiful old French farmhouse which has been renovated carefully blending modern comfort with old days charm.We are ideally situated in the heart of the famous Madiran wine region, just off the D935 main route to Bordeaux less than 1 mile from the charming village of Castelnau Riviere Basse with its quaint market square, open air swimming pool and bull ring where many activities take place during the long summer months. Our location means that we are less than ten minutes from local towns such as Maubourguet,Riscle,Marciac and many others.If you wish to go in to the city you have many choices with places like Tarbes(40mins.)with its wonderful thursday market,Pau(50mins.)with a fantastic selection of restaraunts in the old square,Auch(50mins.)with its beautiful medieval citadel in the old town centre or the famous Lourdes only 1 hour away. Slightly further afield there is Toulouse a fantastic city just under 2 hours away or the stunning Biarritz with its famous beaches. If you are slightly more adventurous you can always pop across the border into Spain(1hr.30mins.). For the even more adventurous or if you just like to relax and enjoy the scenery you will not be dissapointed by the stunning beauty of the Pyrenees where you can walk, climb, cycle, ski, snowboard, paraglide, white water raft or simply relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
