Once the caretaker's lodge on this private woodland estate,"La Primelle,Les Pins" is a cosy stone built cottage, an ideal romantic getaway for two. It has its own west facing terrace and private barbecue area, and also shares a a paved mediterranean style courtyard and large pool with the adjoining cottage for four. Bookings for both cottages are restricted to adults only outside main holidays. Situated on the edge of a national forest, with numerous footpaths leading from thge gate, this is an ideal place for lovers of nature and wild life, and a perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life.
"Les Pins", is a one bedroomed cottage with pine clad ceilings, furnished mainly in Scandinavian style. The large living/dining area has an antique pine dresser, round pine dining table and chairs, and a wood burning stove for autumn/winter lets.From here oak french windows lead onto a private west facing patio and terrace, with outdoor table and chairs and gas barbecue.
At the other end of the room is a comfortable sitting area with an additional sofa bed(possibility of an extra person),large rug, arm chairs, bookcase and entrance doors leading onto the shared courtyard and pool.
There is a well equiped corner kitchen with an electric cooker and dishwasher. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an ensuite shower room which was refurbished in 2009. The inner vestibule has a cupboard and second separate toilet leading off.
